He means that the engine is deliberately cut out after a massive crash to stop people making stupid and dangerous manouvers or cheating in hot laps, he does not mean 'Why does me enigne cut out?', we arent dicussing why it cuts out, just if other people thought it was a good idea to have an engine cut out in the name of improved online gameplay

This should be fairly easy to set up. You just turn the switch on your shifter, making it go into sequential shift mode, then rebind shift up, shift down to the up down on the shifter, however, the only disadvantage of this way is wen u get into an open wheeler, you will either have to rebind shit up shift down to the paddles or use the knob

With regards to decent engine sounds, ive already had a bit of a play using lfstune and with a little shift+a tweaking, ive got some pretty realistic v8 sounds. Using lfstune, on trg, ive found a 5.7L v8 to be one of the best sounding, the bigger the cubic capacity, say 7L, the more ferocious sounding it gets.

Cars i would pay through the nose to see in S3 would be the LX8 (ive seen some photoshopped concepts) and a GT40 type car that could be added to the FZR class, although it would be nice to see another class altogether with, as some have suggested race versions of the Viper or BMW tourers, with a performace span somewhere between the current tourers and the open wheelers

I Agree with what alot of you are suggesting, a muscle car would be great, and as a few have suggested, some sort of mustang/camaro/challenger amalgamation would be ideal, and to have that v8 tone would be a huge attraction to the game

Id like to see the musclecar with alot of grunt, but bad around corners (so it could compete with say, rb4, RAC, ect)

Another suggestion would be to add a dedicated dragster to the game, a top fueller, capable of sub 5sec passes on AU 8 lane. (itd be cool to see some unique setup options for such a car, with boost level, (supercharger) nitrous level, ect

And, finally STAGING IN DRAG RACING!!

After reading your comprehensive list of suggested improvements, i can see that many people racing on lfs should stick to NFS, with suggestions like 'A free roam city' and sharing body kits, ect.
