I see there are now bus mods and that is incredible. It would be realy cool if you could use dual tires for trucks so that would be 4 tires in the back inlined with one another and 2 infront for steering. Maybe the modder will be able to add up to 10 wheels for big trucks.
Also, something that I think would make LFS even crazier is the ability to have some sort of pivot / trailer system. With this ability trucks can now pull trailers, heck even slap a caravan behind your truck and maybe extend this system to pull other players?
One last thing or two in this case, I would like to request a built-in flasher / indicator lights sound and a custom horn sound menu for each car. Public service vehicles can have sirens and other horns options etc.
All in all that would be some great features to integrate into LFS.
Hello I have noticed that most modded cars don't come with gear display. So I was wondering if it is possible for someone to make a mod that will basically display current gear selected.
Maybe you would be able to place it where you want and size it as you may. I think also giving it an option to automatically start when you launch the lfs.exe.
I hope someone in the near future will code this thing.
Actually, do I have to remake the form and generate new skin? If yes then I will stick with this one. I will just update the vehicle model and interior. The physics is good for now. Yes I would like to publish it then :3
I was thinking something random right LOL. So hear me out. Let's say we could possibly have a simple character movement / physics / ragdol or some sort of system in LFS for characters. Drivers could get out of their cars and walk / run around. They would be able to look at their cars, meet with players, maybe seat as a passenger even in another player's car. And maybe when there is a race, players can watch races by seating on those watch stands, who knows. Now I know this sounds a lot like GTA xD but that is not what I am asking. It can be something real simple.
I just thought it would be a cool possibility. All in all, LFS is a great simulator which I love dearly :3. Oh and one more thing: Maybe make a way to use downloaded mods offline, this way practicing with modded vehicles can be made without internet connection.

Hello, is there a way to use downloaded modes offline without copying all those mods and putting them in LFS editor veh folder, and re-converting .dds to .png textures back and forth? I thought that would have been a feature since the mod is already downloaded just to load it. Well I don't know the exact reason why it's not a thing maybe someone can explain it to me. Thank you!
Hello, can someone update LFS Recorder, so that when you select multiple key frames, you can actually change their "Easing type" and "interpolation" all at once. Cause at the moment this is not possible. And also possibly to get an audio render option. So that I can get the audio from the perspective of the animated camera.
Is possible to get an option to remove the spoilers of GTR cars for drifting thx.
And also something I thought would be cool, is have some sort of a button in the "Tyres" section that can load custom rims. And when a player gets online, each player downloads each others rims(They are very small in size. I think you just need .cem, and .dds file. The two together for one rim might get to max file size of less than 2mb. Avg 1mb per rim) just like skins and we all have unique rims. Once it's downloaded then stored it somewhere locally or something.
Well I don't know how it works exactly but you get the idea. xd

Hello! I downloaded LFS_S3_DCON_6U a couple of days ago. I was desperately trying to get the server to show up in the master server list in-game, but no luck for me. The weird thing is that it shows up in the LFSW server list, and also in the LFSLazy Multiplayer list.
I tried disabling the "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" just like in the manual, added Dcon & LFS in windows firewall rule Exception; both UDP and TCP, I have port forwarded the ports; 63392 and 29339 both in TCP and UDP on the router, I tried creating a server in-game and opening another instance of lFS to check if the server appears in the master server list in-game, but nothing works .
