Quote from bbman :Yes, if you set the G25 (or the DFP, for that matter) to 720° in both the Profiler and LfS and set the linearity in LfS to 1, you'll never have to change it again... Only problem then is, if you exceed the lock in say a MRT, you don't get a FFB stop... But if you have to crank the steering up to the lock, there's something wrong already...

Yea I have a G25. Gonna go and have a try. Yea the end stops are pretty useless anyway. Cheers guys.

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Well, thats almost correct. Use 720degree steering in LFS and 720 in the profiler if you want it to automatically hange dependent on the car you are driving.

The picture attached is how you should set it up in the profiler (should be 720 in the profiler steering degrees), but as said before, if you want the steering degree to change to what the cars is automatically, setup up how me and ash are showing you, then all should be good.

p.s, make sure you created a new profile for LFS in the profiler.

Profile>New>Find the LFS .EXE>create a name>Save>all done!

Wait it automatically changes the degrees of rotation dependant on the car? Cant beleive I haven't done that before, I always change it myself! D'OH!

Cheers for the help guys. I haven't looked at the replay yet cause I haven't had any spare time at all!

Ill have a look at that setup and have a play with the live settings then.

BF1 driving tips?

Ive recently been trying out the BF1 on the Aston Grand Prix circut. Its quite a handful but I am having loads of fun with it.

Trouble is that I am still very slow. I think I could probably use a better setup but anyways. I watched the WR and they are sliding the car through all the bends. Is that not a bit crazy for a formula 1 car? I thought it was better to have a smoother driving style? Does anybody have a replay of a fast(ish) lap that still keeps it fairly smooth I could look at?

My other question is about how to slow the car down the fastest. I know that I should be avoiding lockup so I stop faster and don't get flatspots. My current way of slowing the BF1 is to start hard on the brakes (lots of downforce at speed) and lift off as the car slows down. I am still locking the wheels at very slow speeds though even with the brakes barely on. Am I better to let the car slow down through engine braking in first?

Any help would be appreciated.
