damn. this is pretty sad... shikane was what alot of teams wanted to be. a team who was all about having fun, learning, and being a family. and i guess thanks to the lfs devs taking away xrt from demo it somewhat ended the team. and i agree with subby, it was awesome to be on a team with a bunch of people who were about having fun and drifting at the same time. hopefully subby does something else on lfs... id defintily have to join it again.

wow. this is THE most POINTLESS thread ever. i know it was a disaster, but seriously, i wanta see someone step up to the challenge and try to make a comp. what ruined it was the judging could of been better i wont lie, but also the people who were talking when the judges said not to talk kinda defeated the purpose of a competition. everyone i talked to after the event sayd the had fun, and most of em were pissed at the fact that the little kids were talking durring the comp. ALSO, the kids that sit in there and cry also made the event alot less mature and serious. so id personally like to thank the kids who ****ed it up, and im sorry for some of the misjudging. and like i stated before, someone step up and make a better one if you think you can do better...its not as easy as it seems...

yes, even thought i dont use controlers, i did have to for a bit and i think gamepad stabalized would be a great addition to lfs.

This event will be held on March 8th, 2008 both at 3:00PST For Qualifyer and 4:30PST For The Actual Event. THE PST TIME ZONE is -8GMT SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY IF YOUR IN OTHER STATES OR COUNTRIES!!!!


It Will Be On A Section Of Kyoto National Reverse And Will Be XRT, RB4, And FZ5 Only.

To Ensure Fairness For Xrt And Rb4 Drivers, FZ5 Drivers Cannot Pull Away On The Straightaways. (Same For Xrt And Rb4 Drivers If Far Enough Away From Fz5.

There Will Be 25 People Will Be Qualifying On Solo Runs (2 Runs A Person), Then 16 Of Those 25 Will Make It To The Competition. There Will Be 5 Substitues Just Incase Someone Cant Make It.

Register:

You MUST Send Me An Email At [email protected] And Must Include Your LFS Login Name, LFS Racer Name, And Your Team Affiliations. If You Want To Be A Judge, Send Me An Email With Ur Login Name, Lfs Nickname, And Say You Want To Judge.

Rules And Regulations:


1) Normal Tires Only. They Can Be Heated Up To 85 Degrees, But Use At Your Own Risk.

2) Understeering, Missing Or Hitting Clipping Points, And Spinning Out Will Result In A Disqualification.
Durring The Qualifying, If You Crash, You Loose That Run. (If You Crash On Your 1st Run, You Only Have Your 2nd Run To Make It Into The Comp.)

3) NO SPECTATORS! If You Qualify And Dont Make It, You Can Stay (Unless Theres Lag).

4) The Competition Will Be Tandem Runs. You Lead One, You Follow One.

5) DONT BE A SORE LOSER.

Judging Criteria:

Points determining a driver's final score are awarded on following elements:
1. Angle
2. Speed
3. Line - closer to race line clipping points is better
4. Throttle position - wide open throttle is better
5. Whether the vehicle accelerates on the straightway

I Will Handpick Judges. I Will Be One Of Them, And Ill Pick The Other 2 Baised On How Much They Know About Drifting And How Well People Do It. Judges Will Judge Out Of 300 Points. (100 Pts. For Each Judge).
