Ugh so it started as a project to make a drift car on the base of FZR, with body of FZ5, fully private, but turned out kind of beautiful for me and might make it public if liked by community, has some bugs to clear, also the engine is 4.0T V8 with 1,2k hp, but thats going to be changed to something with less than 380. Lots of carbon, because i like carbon. Custom rims (taken out of xrt, but changed structure and modified textures). Has version with rollbar and fire extinguisher and version without those both. Fuel tank is large enough to take all your savings, engine is in front. give suggestions about engine type, hp, torq, max rpm, turbo/na. also give suggestions about allowed tyre type, size and such.

I didnt bother to read all of the posts, BUT if possible, an additional future could be added to the game itself, a menu which opens a calendar, similar to mods menu, it has refresh button and gets data from lfs website. it would be enough to just be the photo which is published through discord servers and on twitter with all upcoming events. just a simple image. Would be much easier to track and follow events for people who cant bother with twitter or forum stuff

didnt bother to download and oen the model. also lfseditor doesnt tell you the count of vertices on model, which has them above the limit. the written 32768 is the limit, if u have more than those, then you should fix the issue outside modeler

its way too detailed mod, you can either delete some parts of it, or reduce the quality (in blender its decimate, google it)

1st there is already implemented a safety rating system by airio (insim). Also in hotlap mode you could preheat your tyres to desired temperature (would be cool to be added in race/quali as well, with option to disable in server side like car repair). The safety car bot is cool idea, but for now we could go with human safety cars. most important in a sim racing game would be the asphalt variable temperature, also different traction in different portions of the track and different grip outside racing line (tyre dust)

Hey rane,
i already have moved the dash even higher, didnt bother to take new screenshots and upload. About the rollcage, i got you, going to edit it too. Tried one tune of the engine with way higher torque at lower rpm and same hp at lower rpm too. Overall its a car with slicks, so it cannot compare to the TBO class currently. I might give it a go for the more detailed interior, but currently i want to make a final version of the 3d model itself, then i would improve textures and skins

Some updates. Partially fixed dashboard, now the steering wheel center stripe + gear stick are paintable. Decreased size of center rear view mirror. Rear mudguards no longer have the black part on the bottom. Red brake calipers. Engine rev limiter increased to 9k rpm, power/torque curve untouched (still has the same max hp/nm), fixed masses (pipes were a bit off, battery was hanging in the air), added temporary shift light onto the dashboard. Fixed setup gearing, now it goes up to ~212kph/132mph. Decreased fuel tank size to 37l (was 40l). Also moved the whole speedo with all gauges up, because fuel percentage was partly hidden on default eye position view
for now on my to do list:
-get rid of that oversteering, tried different setups, wider tyres, none helped. might change whole suspension geometry
-make a standalone shift light with its own mount to the steering wheel or somewhere on the dash
-smoothen interior, redo some textures
-introduce rallyx version with hybrids&knobbly, mudflaps, and other visual tweaks

well its even heavier in the rear compared to stock LX4, added masses of the rollbar, although i removed rear tyre. The oversteering is kind of due setup too, i should play with the anti roll bars

OK! thats a project to start haha, might consider longer gears as it tops up at 192, might give it a go up to 215-218 top speed on 6th.

thanks for feedback. hopefully would be able to sort out shift light fast

08.02 EDIT: would add temporary shift up light integrated from lfs on the dash (like oil pressure lamp), but i would try and do from scratch a standalone shiftlight in blender and sort it out somehow, would take time tho. also fixed some minor stuff, mainly in interior, would fix the setup, fix some minor exterior stuff, like the paint on the rear fenders, would remove the black part. also engine needs rework, the max hp is achieved very close to the rev limiter (~150rpm below it). going to aim for the 7k mark and might decrease rev limiter to 8k rpm (now 8500).

MOD UPDATED:
update includes remade animation, because the old was glitchy. changed front blinkers' textures with more natural ones, changed rollbar design - it now pops up a bit from the sides near the driver and fixed some holes, front radiator texture changed - LX3 text and real car radiator, steering wheel texture changed - blue colored instead of red + lx3 text, seat changed - dark blue, feels more realistic, smaller mirrors + a bit rounded - looks more beautiful, added skin to default colors, more incoming!, changed exhaust manufacturer, headlights wont be that yellowish now, they are similar to white LED bulbs, but with a bit of blue. added texture to vents on the hood to make it more realistic. changed front mudguards' color from green to grey carbon, looks more beautiful. fixed weight and fixed rollbar masses. carbon texture on some parts of interior

Yet another useless mod. WIP LX3 cup, added rollbars from UFR, changed some textures, played with cutouts, increased a bit the weight, decreased hp and Nm to match the LX3 car (LX4+2%res+20kg). Except this is CUP car and for now it has only R3 tyres (might change to R4, because it grips a lot), suspension is unchanged for now, interior is simplified. Rollbars have their own mass and are not just a visual effect. Exhaust from LX6, slightly bigger vents (not visible in screenshots). Also i planned to make rally version of this, but i cannot manage to restrict specific tyres in different configurations, so help would be appreciated. I'm going to publish it until the end of the week. Making this mod, just because i wanted to experiment with the tools in lfs editor. Might try to make something new from scratch. Chromed headlights, paintable rollbars, specific skin incoming, wheels from xrt with own texture.
Give me suggestions on what to change.

i have ran it, on a cheap xiaomi phone, via cloud gaming software, it was playable if you want to cruise around, as i used keyboard inputs. depending on your internet connection, u could play in hd without interruptions. its basically like teamviewer, but gaming adapted

You are welcome to join AirAttack racing servers, as said above, Multiclass is one of those, where you fight for your points to climb through upper classes of cars, more powerful and fun to drive. Oh, nice. Long ago I tried to run dcon on RPI3 model B, but I couldn't find an efficient way. Too bad that dcon is gone now, as it should run even better than LFS itself

You mean racing a ghost from a replay? Like in Colin McRae rally 03-04 and etc. as like trying to improve yourself while you race yourself? I think it was possible, but I may be wrong.

and i just suggest the capability to choose the turning radius of the steering wheel, like we can still have for example 60 deg steering on the tyres, but at the same time to just have 720 turning radius of the steering wheel

I think it just comes down to the player, settings and how much it takes adapting to something new.

Replying to you and the guys above. So about the center reduction - yes I got it right, but the steering sensitive is too much for me, slowed down my mouse speed from windows for now and it kinda works, but the animation itself is a game changer too. Also I can't get used to it, still 1sec or more slower than my PBs
