Welp, I bought it, and have no regrets thus far. Playing around with the BF1 is fun, but hard as hell. The course that's like, on the streets of a city is really fun and gives a great sense of speed, the course that feels like it's in a farm is fun to go fast in, Aston and Fern Bay are cool because of all the options (and Fern Bay Gold is awesome). Kyoto is cool because of the oval, and I haven't really messed around with Autocross yet as I have no idea how to drag or drift.

This all being said, I'd be lying if I said I was doing decent at all. Even using Setup Grid to snag some good setups for the tracks/cars, I'm getting destroyed. I'd assume I just need some practice, but wow. Some people are gods at this game. I'm only having a lot of real trouble controlling some cars, but I seem to get the hang of them if I adjust the downforce.

I have one question though, is the Formula V8 SUPPOSED to be impossibly hard to control, or am I missing something? I can hardly even leave the garage before I spin out of control. Is it a setup issue (right now I only have the default) or what?

Thanks guys. Is there still a good amount of races going on daily? Or are there only like, 3 servers with anyone in them, and they aren't even racing, generally speaking, on a day to day basis?

Also, I have that Logitech gamepad that was mentioned earlier. With it would I still have t do all the stuff I had to to try to get the 360 controller working? Meh whatever, I'll try it out. Thanks again.

I just love sim racers, and when they're online they're even better. It's a shame though, from what I've heard and read the community in game is starting to dwindle.

I also have a 360 controller, but I have no idea how to get it to work, if it even can >_>.

Anyway, as the title says, would it be a worthwhile buy? I love the demo and I've been playing it off and on for years though (though I've never really gotten very good. I still screw up on Blackwood and my best time in the FBM is like, 1:15, though I don't have a setup, and I still really know nothing about racing or cars).

I've thought about purchasing a license in the past, as I'd imagine it would greatly improve options on things to do, but I only have a mouse and keyboard setup. The thing I hate about the mouse is there's no force feedback or anything, so you seem to be able to turn the wheel all the way with a small flick, and when you try to recover from an accident it can be a nightmare. Considering the cars only seem to get mostly faster yet harder to handle, I would like to know if upgrading to an S2 license would even be a feasible decision? I'd like to get a wheel at SOME point, but they're very expensive.

I figured out the problem and now I feel stupid >_<

I've been using a desktop shortcut to play LFS, and I had a LFS folder in my My Games Folder where I put my skins and stuff. Thing is, the shortcut wasfrom another LFS folder in my C Drive >_<

So all my skins go there :P. Thank you for trying to help anyways!

They are saved as a jpeg and they all have the proper prefix (FBM_)

The weird thing is, the setup I downloaded also doesn't show up. I'm assuming one of two things:

1. I should reinstall

2. The FBM prefix changed.

Would any of those things be the problem?

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Secondly, yeah. I can't get any of the skins I downloaded for the FBM to show up. I put them in my data/skins folder, then when I go to the car and click add new colours, all it shows is the default skins. What am I doing wrong?

I play with a keyboard and mouse. Are all the cars still just a little harder to control?

So, would I just pay with it saying pound, and then my creditcard/paypal will just convert the money to bills?

So, I am thinking about buying an S2 license once I get the money to pay my parents. But, upon looking at the 'buy online' page, I noticed that all the money amounts were in pounds. Can I still buy the game with USD (United States Dollars?) If so, how much is 24 punds in USD?

Also, one minor question:
I consider myself a decent racer. I can do blackwood in a FBM in about 1:16 (not that incredible, i know). Will I be able to handle ANY of the S1 or S2 cars, or will it be very, very hard to do?
