birds and planes is pointless. It good that the driver animations are here though will make the replays look much less stupid. Hope the release notes shows some useful improvements ( doubt much will happen though ).

I'm tired, but it sound like exactly the same descriptions of how a theoretical tire works, as it does after a short while googling of a brush model. Not saying that that is how it is coded/modeled just that DK's post is pointless, just a compete waste of time.

That whole article was just PR PR PR PR PR PR PR. Trying to confuse a lot people by using a wall of words, but giving no f.u.cking information at all. All he essentially said he's using the brush model technique, well done sir.

I'd also like to say that tire modeling is a very very very very very very complex issue therefore they will never get it exact but, there is no need to treat us as fools.

did about 40 laps last night, did a 44.488 with the default set and soft tyres, still slow though, feels very good.

i think it should be allowed, the pole is on the curb anyway, if you try cut to much you spin from hitting the tyre, and surely there won't be the man power to monitor the chicane and take notes on who cutting etc the whole race, just my .2$

really starting to get to grips with the lotus now pretty sure I'll run it next season

i'm the historic gp, 6th fastest q so far, not bad since i've never raced it before

i'll probably be doing the lotus @ silverstone aswell

Jason Lovett made the set I used for Qually and I modified the ride hight and roll bars to make it more race friendly.. It still seems fast enough though.. Make sure you change the arbs through the race and watch out for the qually set, because its so tail happy
