video card : geforce4 mx 420 (only at 32mb) is that why?

i want to upgrade my video card (what is the best video card for LFS??)

just joined this forum and im about to buy a s2 license
but i dont know if its my computer or program it self
my fps goes only up to 25FPS so it lags
can someone help me out
