OKay, here are my statistics, which is actually not much, basically because I didn't have internet for some time, but I still drove it alone (well that's down to trust now... I've been raised not to lie though...) I'm not fast but I still end up in front of people :P

Travelled distance:7662 Km
Fuel burnt:1230 Ltr
Laps:1993
Hosts joined:230
Races won:19
Second:13
Third:24
Finished:127
Qualifications:41
Pole Positions:10

I've been driving LFS since 2007 or 2008, can't really remember, but I've never had money to purchase S1 or S2, so I'm taking my chance with applying here although statistics show that I don't fill the criteria, what can I loose, eh?

See ya around

Quote from dawesdust_12 :It's difficult because he's trying to do it an unsupported way. He is not using a Mac at all, he's using a PC running OSX. Installing Windows on a Mac is a 3 step process:
1) Run Boot Camp Assistant which is an idiotproof way to partition the OSX hard drive (and live resizes the active partition)
2) Insert your Windows CD/DVD and restart and follow normal Windows installation (EG hit yes a few times, enter a serial number, and run to the furthest Starbucks in your town or an adjacent town.)
3) Insert your OSX disk (in Windows), and hit (Install Windows Drivers in the Autorun part), and then a restart later and it's all working.

Compared to Windows, where you haffto go search for some Ethernet drivers without an internet connection, I'll take the Mac route any day.

Anyways - Maverick, you need to do a lot of learning, as you're using a Hackintosh PC, you need to learn how to install GRUB to your MBR, and then to install Windows.

Cider won't work, as it doesn't support creating a native window and it seems to be the first thing LFS does (and Cider is a fork of Wine, but then they took out a million features).

Crossover is your only option, and it doesn't produce bad results.

Thanx but tried that, and it BCA doesnt starts, actualy i got an error which says that BootCamp only works with Mac or something like that(probably recognizes Motherboard). However I have another HDD with Win on it and anyway I have to reboot PC to get Win running, that is not the problem. I wanted to run LFS nativly on Mac with no need to reboot

Im bored to reboot over and over again....

Get back to the topic theme!!!!

Bootcamp doesnt work because im Hackintosh user... however mvware and parallels arent good because they use too much resources from PC...

However, can anyone explain to me how to get it work via Cider. I dont understand that icon making and Control-C Control-V part in Cider tutorial which I got when downloaded it.. Any help about this?

Quote from Michael Denham :I run LFS on my imac in XP using bootcamp, and it runs really nicely. 1920x1200 on the 24in screen and with all the details up I get about 150fps.

How should I install bootcamp and LFS? Where i can find detailed explanation, and if that doesint exist, can you explain it to me?

Edit: I just saw that it doesnt work with hackintosh... will try parallels or VMware...

Or can someone explain to me how to get it worr with cider, because, explanation that I have is awfull

How can someone critisize something that one didnt tried to do or use?

I was TEN(10) YEARS Win user and now Im ONE(1) MONTH Mac user, and I found Mac much, much more usefull than Win...

If there was LockOn Flaming Cliffs and LFS for Mac, I would say bye bye to Win, and see ya never more!

ok, I will try cider...

Anyway, I didnt wanted to make a discussion which of two is better, Win or Mac... but as a 10year user of Win (Win1997-Win7 which Im currently using for gaming), and about a month user of Mac, I must say that Win is one huge piece of cr*p(I have to mention that I couldnt make my CI/QE working on Mac yet and it is still better than Win)!!!!

I asked, if there is a plan to make full LFS version for Mac, and will wait for some answers from LFS Team.

I tried reinstalling Join2LFS.

BrowseForSpeed works only for Y Patch.

OK I found out that the problem is probably with my browser, I tried to join via Desktop using IE and it works, will try to reinstal browser.
