Yeah! That was before my time at ISR but I love that stuff and I want to get more of it on the show. I still think LFS replay footage looks the best

I'm Tom Haake from Insidesimracing.tv. We've recently started a new segment called “This Week in Sim Racing” to try and give everyone up to date news on the sim racing world. What we'd also like to do is have one place where everyone can go for the most recent race reports on all the different leagues or groups in all the sims. We've already created a place on our web site for it called the “RaceTube” (http://www.ins ... /pages/section/Race-Tube).


What we need from you are the race reports!


I know many of you make reports and we'd like to give them some exposure and hopefully get more people involved. SO! If you have race reports, upload them to youtube and send us the link and they'll get posted to our site! Thanks for your help, we're hoping this will generate more buzz about the sim racing world and expose people to races they might not otherwise discover.

That's helpful, thanks. To be honest all I really need is a Motherboard with PCI-E slots and a processor around 3 ghz. I have extras of just about everything else. That should help my sponsorship quest. I'll still wait a while to see if anything like that surfaces before going to businesses.

If anyone that is reading can help out and donate(or sell for cheap) parts from a dead/dying computer, please let me know.

This is currently up-in-the-air sadly. I had an old Shuttle X PC that i was going to beef up and adapt but It has one PCI slot and that is it. No AGP and certainly no PCI-E. I'm looking for a solution but it is eluding me at the moment. Money is tight, as everyone is aware, so a sponsorship from a gaming PC maker would really help, but that is probably very unlikely.

So... I don't know! It's something that is an unknown at this point.

Yeah I did. Two things stopped me. Price, while cheap for a racecar isn't as cheap as possible (and that's what I'm going for). For the record, I've spent about $55 on this project. I'll have a full sim seat for under $100. Thats CHEAP. And number two is that, in all honesty, if i got my hands on anything that was even capable of being restored back to operating race condition, I would. I really wanted to both save money and give something that would normally go to the junkyard new life. It feels good that way and the piece you end up with has a sort of history to it.

So yes, it would probably be easier. But not nearly as fun or as interesting to read about
