Well I think I have a slight bit of talent (yeey :P) Just had a go on Fe Green with the FBM and done a 1.05.85 with an in development setup and still learning the track. I thought I'd have a go at it since it would change the routine I have atm ( which is BLGP all the time ...)
I think I suffer from being a perfectionist. I have the urge to race all day long just to reach the goal and be the fastest... So Bascially I need to practice even more than 3 hours a day ? :O
I've been playing the demo for a few months now and am rather quick on the BL1- FBM combo. Current PB is a 1.13.12. The problem is tho that I just can't seem to get beyond that. I have watched the WR replay for atleast a billion times. I tried copying his lines and everything but I can't even get under the 1.12. My question is ( and it's not only focussed on this particular combo) What is the trick/secret behind setting a wr, or even a really good time. I know patience + practising is one thing but there must be more than that!
hope to hear from you guys and help me get into the 1.12's
Sorry for sort of hi-jacking the thread with my "problems" but I just wanted to share something with you guys. A good friend of mine has no more time to race at LFS and after I told him my story he actually gave me his account So hopefully see you on track (hopefully with the winner hehe)
Yeah I suppose quitting is a bit radical. Truth is I don't see a way to get myself an S2 license ( money etc.) And demo is killing me (litteraly the amount of wreckers is absolute madness)
I suppose I should apoligize for my behaviour at the end really. Let me explain a bit what actually went through my mind: I have been practising/testing/making setups for atleast 2 hours a day. And then you mess it all up because you started with the wrong setup and you spun atleast 3 times.
Hope you guys don't mind
Grats to Mazdarati anyway
I think this is the last message from me I don't think I'll play LFS again
How about a sort of test race on Saturday evening? like 30 lap race with the real racing conditions and stuff. I think it's a good way to get to know eachother a bit better on the track so you won't have to at the real race day
If I win this license ( which I am probably not going to seeing how quick everyone else is...) I'll put it to good use and race in the GFC league. It seems that's the place where the real guys hang out
