I have just reinstalled my lfs on my win 7 and trying to setup my g25. I run the steering at 540deg. for some reason the steering goes all weird as soon as I get into a car the wheel will be turned while going straight and it will change its position. I have tried to recalibrate the axes but it does nothing. plus I am also having probs with the accel and brake. I have got it set to combined and that seems to work but still stuffs up sometimes. is this a win 7/lfs compatibility issue?

After racing on lfs for a year and getting very sick of the same cars and same tracks and just finding the game to limited in what you could do, of course ill give acknowledgement that yes it is fun but not as fun as rfactor. There are hundreds of cars and thousands of tracks, yes almost all of them are real life ones. not fictional tracks. They even go into laser scanning and gps data for making some of the tracks. as for the rally in lfs what a let down, nothing is better than jumping in a WCORRA or Vorra buggies or a Ken block WRX and belting them up 26kms of pikes peak or any of the other countless full rally tracks they got.

Most of the mods that I have driven in have been very realistic. Though I am in a league theat the admins carefully select the mods before we do a race season. we are competing in a closed version of the ILMS mod with the gt2s atm (ferarri 360, 430, M3 gtr, GT40, 996, 997) Has to be some of the closest and high adrenilin racing. in our last season we ran these cars with 40 signups and some tracks you would get top 20 cars in qualifying less than a second between 1-20.

Of course dont take the graphics of the replays as the actual graphics of what the game will look like on your computer.

Im looking for some help and not sure where to go.

like how to change the tyre options that are available like in bf3 makin the dirt tyres available, and it tells me that some setups arent suitable. how do i change that.

just another question as an admin can i get myself into a s2 car then set the server to say bf3 and only the xfg and xrg available, will it still run as a demo even tho im not in that type of car. say if i was in teh fz50 or ufr.

that sounds good. im thinkin we should go the xrr to make it a rear wheel series, but then i fear it may be biting on the nascar side of things

just after brainstorming that would work well. gonna start makin a track, usin some barriers etc.

we are not ripping off any ideas. we are aussies and love our racing. we are even thinking of the porsche cup using the fzr and a lower series using the fz50

we just want something to offer our team. if you have something that you can suggest that we can do that isnt ripping someone off your ideas would be appreciated.

Starting a new team might bring you guys back to earth, because, really, there's not much 'fresh blood' out there who are fast anymore, because most of the bigger teams have taken them. You'll have to earn your stripes and that will be very difficult. Who knows, if you succeed you might have a good team on your hands.
All in all, though, don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.

2. no i dont need a tutorial, i can drive pretty good.
3. I have never asked or requested for a password or anything like that for a private server.
4. X factor racing site is not squatting on any server, it is fully paid for.
5. It was a AW site, they some of the admins said they didnt want to use anymore, though there is some discussion with an aw member as to what they want done with it.

6. we are wanting a fresh start, some respect, and are willing to earn our stipes. So please just give us a fair go.

As one of the founding members of this team, I can assure you that we are not demo racers, not crashers and are genuine in setting up a team that isnt affraid to issue or accept a challenge. We will be creating our own team skins and will eventually build up a database of setups to pass onto members should they not have a decent one.

We are generally online everynight from about 6pm aest, sometimes earlier.

The series we are looking at setting up will be consisting of a series of races held at different locations basically to run like a real championship, so there will be a practice session prob 5-10 mins depending on the track, 10 mins qual then a 3-7 lap race. series point will be kept and broadcast onto the website.

A demo day will alse be held one day a week, in hope of attracting junior members. We will be running a competition that once a year someone will get their s2 licence paid for. any more questions, come visit us online in lfs or contact via the site when up and running.

I been racing on this game for about 4 yrs now and find that the aw servers are prob the cleanest racing ones. so if you do cause an accident offer a sorry then you wont get kicked. they understand an accident but not taking someone out cause they bumped you or something stupid like that. practice hard and one day you may be a part of the AW team.
