I own an 88 TX3 Turbo and use a T28 turbo and its characteristics are as described in the first post, boost kicks in around the 2000-2500rpm mark. My brother also has the same car but uses a BBT28 and his kicks in a bit earlier.
For lag to be useable and realistic in LFS you would have to determine what size turbo and specifically sort would be modelled on to the car(bigger turbo, longer the lag - smaller turbo not as much but top end boost is normally over). Then take into account the displacement size of the engine and so on.
Im yet to use any of the turbo cars because im only a demo user but once i purchase my s2 ill come back with my thoughts
As a Demo user im wondering if an ingame setup modification will be an addition to LFS.
For example -
You leave the pits, and something doesnt feel right you can adjust your set up whilst going around the track instead of having to pit. Now i know that not all things will be adjustable just maybe an addition of tweaking your suspension would be pretty cool and possibly your aero aswell.
well i purchased a second hand ati 9800 XXL with the previous owner saying its in perfect working order. Now after 7 hours figuring out how to get picture i now have some obstructing my picture. Ive tried everything G13 stated in a previous post to no avail.
If this cant be fixed it must be a broken card, so if anyone has any tips cause i really cant afford to spend anymore for quite awhile would be greatly appreciated
Well it seems i have another problem, my computer isnt finding the card or recognising it at all.
The Fan is working sweet just if i plug my monitor cord into it im getting no picture nor am i finding it in Device Manager. I have installed the latest drivers but still nothing, im starting to think i bought a dud card which sucks!
atm i am running intergrated graphics and averaging around 15fps when using the incar view and from the start of a race its almost impossible to know where im going.
I would like to race without me stuttering around the track too much and a friend said that an upgraded Video or graphics card will help me
Here are my specs of my computer
Asrock Motherboard
Amd Sempron 2300+
1gig of ram
I know my computer isnt that rocking but it does the job. Now im not that rich(have about $40 Australian to spend because i want to buy a s2 license soon after)
