Today I finished making some nice 5 spoke rims fir the A6, turned out very nice if you ask me This was one of my first times making a proper 3D rim model. Was a bit of a challenge but I'm satisfied to the result!

Been working on the model for the past week whenever I had free time. Was very busy but still got quite a bit done, I was mainly focusing on the interior of the model. Made front and rear seats, doorcards, floor carpet and started at last to make the dashboard. I'm not gonna rush this project as I want the model to be the best I can make. The A6 C6's design is one of my absolute favourites, don't want to waste this opportunity

Anyway I am planning on revamping this whole mod later this year, everything will be improved (Better 3D work, better texturing and more configs)

For the past couple weeks I have been making the high quality model (LOD1) of the Audi A6 C6 and, uploaded timelapse of it to YouTube aswell








Will now take a couple week brake from working on it and will focus on school and other 3D modeling projects, once I get back to it I'll start on the interior of the model

Hello!

I started creating a model of an Audi A6/S6 C6 gen sedan in Blender a few days ago, so far only done LOD2/Low detail model of the car and the steering wheel. Today I will be continuing on the exterior adding more details.





Mod will have 3 variants:

- 3.0 V6 Turbo diesel.

- 4.2 N/A V8

- 5.2 N/A V10

I will be first making the 3.0TDI and 4.2FSI because they will be using the same excact cosmetic stuff, S6 is quite different overall so that's why making it last!

Hope you guys like it No idea when mod will be ready but I try to be quicker this time.

I will be remaking the lightbar/police lights + some other things as I have more time and I could add this to another config, anyways I will take this into consideration first, might make it might not

I made a new dashboard from legal photos now for the mod, it turned out even better than the old one that I used Assetto Corsa mod pictures for. I will be uploading a video of the modeling progress once I have time to edit it and upload it. But here are some snips taken from the video itself.

The mod has been now updated and it is again ready for review.

PS. I re-used the wheelhub and center console because I have modeled those both fully from scratch by eye balling reference images.

my suggestions for fixes that will improve the mod:

1. cleaner 3d work

fixing all the holes in the model, cleaning up the mesh especially in the interior, could also just rebuild a brand new higher quality model, iirc you stated that you have some 3d-skils so this shouldn't be a problem, also make a lower poly lod2 for better performance. the current 3d work is really messy and poor.

2. fixing the hp/tq curve

seems that you have tried to make the mod have stock specs, peak power should be at about 1000rpm higher than now, and with torque about 200rpm higher. torque isn't the big problem here but better to fix it.

3. fixing weight + weight distribution

weight of the car is off by couple hundred kg's(its supposed to be about 1450-1500kg) again i assume you are trying to make the car have more or less stock specifications, the cars weight is more on the front: 53% on front and 47% on the rear. it would make more sense for the front to be lighter than it is now so we can get the 50/50 weight distribution. i can feel it be a bit too understeery.

4. driving feel

the car on corners is very slidey and hard to control even with super tyres and lower amount of pressure for better grip. also the huge amount of downforce is just very unrealistic and makes no sense to have it that much on an m3. my suggestion is to start over in making of the physics.

What's with your attitude man? I'm just giving basic feedback of the mod on what could be improved and what is good, if you make a mod public then you should also be prepared for feedback from the users, right? Public mods are for public use for people to enjoy! Not for one person or a certain group to enjoy and then act like this when someone gives some constructive criticism. If this is the case, keep the mods private.

Mod grips allright around corners and it is nice to drive, but the model of the mod needs work. There are multiple holes here and there (mainly in the places of panel gaps) also interior could be more detailed like Pazzur stated and also for me the car wont turn on after you turn it off.
