Has anyone tried the eDimensional glasses with an ATI card? Their website claims that it works with ATI as well.
I've installed the driver (EDController 4.0 not for NVidia) without the glasses and indeed it shows interlaced stereo3D feed, but I don't know if it actually synchronizes properly with the glasses.
well, it turns out that our brain can naturally use 2 sets of cues to estimate distance to objects:
- size of objects (currently available in the game in 2D) and
- stereoscopic depth (available only when the eyes receive 2 different images).
The second set of cues are particularly important for ppl using LFS as a cheap way to train for real car races.
besides, I heard neardy is making a comeback (or maybe that's just my gf trying to make me feel good :razz
How about an anaglyph (red/cyan) mode for those of us that have ATI cards or can't display in stereoscopic for other reasons? It seems like such and easy add-on to implement.
I've seen this game in stereo 3D and it looks awesome!!!
