Hello guys,
LFS is a very good racing game that I am still playing to this day. Recently I read a news that at a site called DazzDeals there is a great LFS discount code, but when I go there and search, there is no discount code? So has anyone earned the LFS discount code at DazzDeals yet? If so, can you share it with me?
Thanks so much.

Quote from rane_nbg :Well take assetto for example. It's super expensive with all the available DLC, I do not even know how much I've spent on all of those. It has a milion cars and tracks, of which I only drove a few. My multiplayer experience was horrible. In that case, this is absolutelly too much choice, driven just by the the nature of how games these days are. Here's an DLC or a car, you wana play? then you buy, try it and not drive it anymore. What I'm trying to say is more content does not equal better. If you just want to do a single player hotlap, then by all means, go for it. Moreover, kids are anyway allways attracted to the graphical aspect of it and mostly are repelled from LFS due to it.

LFS gameplay, GUI, multiplayer experience, FFB, organized leagues and its small specialized community makes it in my opinnion by far the best racing sim ever made. It gets improved, slowly yes, but it still does live on since 2002.

Thanks you

Quote from bowst :Little bit correction. Live for speed is a racing simulation, not emulator.

You can read the difference between simulation and emulator on Wikipedia.

You have come to the perfect place. LFS is a great and affordable sim, with plenty of good cars and tracks. The community is small but also very fun and helpufull.

As pricing is concerned, there are different licenses demo (free), S1, S2 and S3. One can buy one by one and upgrade. Have a look here for exact prices https://www.lfs.net/shop

For start you can try demo for free, then if you like it, no more that up to S2 is really needed. S2 should be no more than 30 dollars I guess, for USA. It's a one time payment, no iRenting bs.

Thanks for your suggestion

How much is Live For Speed?

Hello everyone,
Live For Speed is an emulator so we can simulate racing on F1 track. I am very passionate about speed, but the actual conditions do not allow so I can only satisfy my passion through Live For Speed. I currently want to install a Live For Speed emulator in my entertainment room, so I want to ask if anyone can tell me what the cost of a simulation system is? And is it possible to earn a discount code to be able to buy it at a more reasonable price?
Thanks everyone.
How to make 3d renders?

Hello everyone,
During a tour of a technology university, I saw people studying with a laptop, drawing and designing the details of the machines to look very vivid, look real. I asked them if they were doing 3D rendering. After that day I decided I would have to learn that. But I don't know how to make 3D renders. Hope everyone can show me where I should start.
Thanks everyone.

Not that we couldn't help you here on the forums, but if you have more questions about how to start and would like to have answers faster, I recommend joining the LFS Community Discord Server Smile Most of the time you can get near-instant replies for your questions there. You can join the Discord server by clicking this invite link: https://discord.com/invite/wZrUTJN

Quote from Flame CZE :First, create a GAMEpassword on your account details page. Then you can download LFS from the homepage, run the game, then on the entry screen, unlock LFS with your username and GAMEpassword. Then you can join an online server Smile

Thanks for your support, I will try it

Hello everyone,
I am very passionate about speed, especially driving. But I cannot afford to experience in the racetrack, and driving at high speeds off the road is not allowed. So I think the solution for me is in simulated racing. But I do not know how to play this simulation like. So I hope someone can explain it to me.
Thanks everyone.

Quote from Evolution_R :From my experience - I'm often working with the textures inside LFS\data\dds folder - on a SSD those files are loading/previewing much, much faster than being on a HDD.

Quote from KevinRacer :SSDs are usually the way to go with modern heavy games. At this time I don't think you would benefit much from putting LFS on an ssd instead of a relatively good HDD. Of course, in doubt just chuck into an ssd, it's not a really heavy program by the time you download it. The big update, that will bring newer graphics with most likely heavier textures and more game features that will make the game heavier, will happen maybe this year or later, might make you desire LFS on an ssd more compared to hard disks. Hope this helps.
Also, I don't think this forum zone "Car setups" is suited for this thread Shrug

Thanks for your advice, it's so helpful for me

Quote from Eclipsed :As a matter of fact I have a good comparision from my experience - the only real difference is how fast the track is loaded in track selection screen - with HDD it took several seconds to load a track (like 10s with the updated Westhill back then),now I have LFS on a SSD and the older not updated tracks load almost instantly while the updated tracks need 2 seconds or 3. Let's see how much the new update will change loading times.

Thanks you so much

Hi everybody,
This is a very good software, it simulates the driving process, thereby helping me to train my ability to drive. Now I want to download this software to my computer but do not know whether it should be saved to the SSD or the HDD will be darker? Hope someone can help me out?
Thank you very much.
