Quote from NENE87 :Maybe just try to create only one car from scratch with blender and import on LFSEDITOR, try to create real physics, engine, animation,... That’s hard! I prefer create something in case of wait about something!

Great answer! I just took up something else, I paint pictures, got interested in RC models and built small tracks for them in the city in a public park! And now I'm expecting the official opening of this small track for radio-controlled models soon)

I don’t work much with karting now, the reader is still with the dirty version, but in order not to multiply the list in mods, we look at the next external version for the road and drift versions.
New control panel on the smartphone, brake lights on the road version, some added details from the MPT5.
Control panel introduced.

Quote from Gutholz :The "v2" buggy gives this error message:

I did not notice before that there is a "no bodywork" option and just spend some minutes looking at all the details underneath, it is nice.
The two buggies would be good canidates for approval, if minor things are cleaned up and development is more stable. (aereo experimenting is finished etc)
Throw in some default skins and it would be good to go.

I am not sure if the "no bodywork" option should stay: On one hand it is cool to look at the frame and compoments. But it would look rather silly if in a race half the vehicles drive around with no body.
Maybe as compromise one of the configs could be a bit more see-through from the sides.

And maybe have one RWD and one AWD version? Like FXR vs XRR and FZR in GTR class. Gives a bit variety and an "easy" option.
But for dirt it is probably harder to balance than in GTR class because AWD will be such big advantage.

Thanks for the detailed description and review! I appreciate it.

I know about downforce, it was an experiment.
Development continues slowly, downforce is removed, and off-road tires will be matched without error. Fixed mirror image skin. in addition, changes will be made to the 3d model.

Thanks for the feedback.

Super! More rally cross tracks with soil, or cover concrete with soil in the auto editor)

Hi all!
I had a big break. Almost in a hurry while doing some parts for the buggy, made a mud kart.
Are you interested in riding it? It's a pity there are no flat large land plots, but it's also funny on the grass)

I read everything in this topic, and realized that I did not understand anything at all. But I realized that it is insanely difficult. I ask myself when these tasks will be completed and the time will come for a release with added tracks and a track editor. The new graphics are interesting. I would just like to wait for the update and the track editor, with the ability to create sand and gravel.
Thank you for the opportunity to create machines.
Good luck and fast problem solving!

Quote from Amynue :Can you please add ability to install ROAD tires on the Buggy V2?

Necessarily. I'll just figure out what class of buggy and different classes of tires will be. And then with the update of the first version, for some reason, off-road tires turned off.
In addition, I model the body in more detail, then the skin will be applied.

Quote from farcar :This is an under-appreciated mod. I'm finding the road version lots of fun to drive.

Thanks!

Quote from Scawen :You create a second default setup - "dup" button at bottom left in vehicle editor.

Right click to rename the new setup.

Then for that setup you select different tyres, and different configuration, that's all. Smile

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! This is wonderful! THANKS!Smile

Quote from Scawen :It seems the krt cr has:

- 2 mesh configurations (named Cross and Hillclimb)
- 2 default setups (named default and Hillclimb)

1st default setup has hybrid tyres and 'Cross' configuration
2nd default setup has slick tyres and 'Hillclimb' configuration

Thanks!
That is, if I make a 1600 buggy, a racing version and a road version, then I somehow and where to change tires?!...
While in my head I can not figure out where I will change)
Thanks for the direction.

Quote from Scawen :It is still not possible for configurations to affect other parts of the model. At the moment configurations only apply to the mesh.

I know that configurations affect the tyres with the official GTR cars but that was a hard coded system. An editable version of that is still only a note on a list at this time.

And how is the KRT cr model made? It also seems to have two tire configurations in the buggy class.

Hello. I have a question. How to make a second auto configuration? Buggy class. Alternative option with other tires.
I missed something and can't find the information I need.
I learned how to make the configuration of a 3D model, but I can’t find the configuration of a car in the tire prana.

Quote from Gutholz :To be honest the original model looked totally good enough to me. Cool
But if you think you can do even better..thats okay too!

Thanks. I am making the second version because different car designs of the same class participate in the cup. There are many different ones. I choose according to what I like. If it turns out well in terms of physics, I will try to equalize both of them in terms of the competitive component. Moreover, different cars will participate in one race, which one they like best. + Some outer parts will overlap each other. I will add hubs to the first version, maybe I will change the engine model.
And if someday there will be a track editor, then there will already be cars for dirt racing)
