I've downloaded this video some while ago and maybe some people want to see it aswell. It's the 1991 Tooheys 1000 race at the legendary Mount Panorama track at Bathurst in Australia.
You will the the Sierra RS 500 Cosworths, Nissan Skyline GT-R's, Holden Commodores and BMW E30 M3's. The show contains a little race preview, a review of the race and the podium.
The total playtime is about 2 hours and the file is roughly 650 MB big so the download will take a while.
The tires are a part of the total package too. So they may had to sign with Michelin too. Essex had a lot of bad luck wich van Merksteijn didn't had appart from one longer pitstop due to the undertray.
Both cars were doing about the same laptimes in dry conditions (Essex a bit faster over the 3 drivers) but Verstappen was at least 12 sec a lap faster in the wet.
[QUOTE=Gil07;476587]Jeld-Wen Motorsports V8 Supercar skin, public, feel free to use it, but please don't edit. It's already on LFSW. 2048x2048 version attached, if anyone for some reason wants 1024x1024 I can provide it.
Big thanks to chrinaeg and belain for the renders

I got a very nice AGP card in my rig. Gainward Bliss 7800 GS+ 512mb But that will be a bit overkill for you system. I would go for a 6800 or 7600 i think. Have no idea about the prices atm though.
Hi, i've made a Eggenberger RS 500 skin a long time ago when the S2 viewer was first released. I've redone that one plus i've made 2 new cars.
The no 1 car is the 1987 WTTC winner with drivers Klaus Ludwig and Steve Soper.
The no 6 car is the 1987 Bathurst 1000 winner but disqualified afterwards with Steve Soper and Pierre Dieudonner.
The no 67 car is the 1987 Nurburgring 24 hour winner with drivers Klaus Ludwig, Klaus Niedzwiedz and Steve Soper.
All cars are different from eachother and based on the diecast models wich i have of the 3 cars. They are allready upped to LFSW. A 2048 res skin can be sent on request, 1024 skins are attached to this post.
Think i've solved the most of it now. Did a defrag on all the disks. Also found out that the temp of the cpu was getting a bit high so i've opened my case.
Tonight racing on the Bug Test Server 2 with around 30 people i didn't had any serious frame drops. The lowest was around 25-30 i believe. Average around 45 with cars around me
Thanks for you reply Slopi. I've forgot to mention in my post that i've did a fresh install of Windows XP 2 or 3 weeks ago. This hasn't result in better FPS at all.
I'm doing defrag on all my partitions atm. Maybe that will help a bit.
I'll have a look at that SiSoft Sandra for testing my system.
Hi folks, after al long time of trying things i can't get my fps right anymore...I have this machine for a few years and always played LFS with good detail settings and a nice frame-rate. But since a while LFS won't run as before. With 15 people on the starting grid i only have a FPS around 5 or 10 when it used to be 30...
I don't think these are really bad settings for my system. But as said before when i race with more people it's just crap. Was on the Bug Test Server 2 this afternoon, racing on blackwood in 2nd position with 3 cars behind me and the FPS allready dropped below 30 on the back straight. This can't be good...
