1. "LFS does almost everything better than its competitors":
I disagree, in the span of 15 years, there has only been 1 map release, and some rework on the older maps.
2. "speed"
Well the game is extremely outdated, old and only has 8 track + layout and graphics arent to much to hype about.
3. "Scripting": You can do the same thing in most simulator games. The reason some of the simulator games dont are because the modders are making the vehicles manual only or H-Shifter only, wich make sence, because its what makes the game realistic. You shouldnt be able to change to "automatic/H-shifter" by pressing 1 button, it removes the immersion.
4. Multiplayer Experience! Well, game is extremely dead and most people play on TC wich make every other server kinda pointless.
The physics in this game are ok, but there is alot of more to get from other simulator games wich updates frequently every single month.
You are hyped because you installed lfs again after 15 years, give it a month and you are already bored out of your mind because of the lack of content available.
The reason why most people quit are because the lack of update and releases of new cars or map are so delayed its crazy.
I've been driving in real life for over 15 years, and honestly the simulator game that makes it feel more realistic then anything is assetto corsa.
LFS would be great if it had more to deliver, and make people able to make maps for them, the game would rock up i can gurantee.
But LFS is losing players every single day, i give it another year and most people probably already quit. Sadly, cus it has alot of potential if they actually decided to give it more of a push, hire more devs or modders to help them out. Sadly, this is more of a hobby to the devs wich makes it slowly progressing.
But honestly, it's kinda to late now as the game has been out for nearly 20 years and there is literally nothing to show for

Reason : DarkShadow32 pointlessly quoted the entire post above
The whole "In-Game Currency Trading" is just another way of making more issues for the developer and the game itself.
Instead of using a in-game currency, there should be a rental system instead, wich is a "win-win" for everybody.
Player drive to earn a currency that is not tradeable, but instead you're able to use it for what you want. Either rent a car for X amount of time, or buy the car.
Making people eligible to trade in-game currency, just enables RMT or in this case rental system, there is a reason why most game company don't allow this.
And honestly, if in-game currency trading is the only thing that keep people playing on TC, then i wouldnt really say you got a loyal community.
Don't use the same username and same password that you use for your LFS account on any website that requires you to register when it comes to website from LFS (Not talking about TC OR LFS ITSELF)
I've known people that would not encrypt people's information when registering to a forum or a website that would basically just steal their account and change the password.
Not everyone can afford to upgrade their computer. Some people have tight budgets, and their priorities might be different. Understanding that everyone has their own situation helps avoid judgment about tech choices.
I thought this should come from me as he was a part of us for many years.
Hello guys, it's bamse here.
One of our fellow friend that was a part of our team in WKD has passed away 6 days ago.
Alot of people will remember his name by "Kerser or Lachlan".
He has always had a very strange sense of humour, and he was always helpful and happy for everyone. He was always with us all the way to 2024. We've talked to him since 2009 and never stopped talking.
Since he loved to play LFS and that he had many friends here, i thought it was just right to let people know.
I hope for the sake of him, the moderators/developer will let this post stay to honor him <3
