In actual fact, cruisers are not against cruisers, racers or drifters. For the best part we're all happy to co-exist. Sadly LFS has another style of user, its called the anti. Thats exactly the point, we KNOW they are responsible. The proof is out there too. You just have to look at encounters on lfsw to prove who's involved. I've seen people banned just for being associated with trouble. It really does feel that bureaucracy and lfs politics get in the way of progress too often.

I've tried all kinds of software sollution, but they don't work (I ignored most of those posts as they seemed inconstructive) and I've also paid for cisco guard ontop, which makes little difference.

I am glad that this thread didn't get locked. I've managed to finally get some information on what I need.

Banning users who cause a problem does seem to stop one method of obtaining an IP. WKD admitted a vendetta against ICE, so at least now I know if they want my IP, they have to sift through every single IP on the master.

Banning all of them may not stop the problem, but its the best hope ICE has.

I've just checked this time and time again, I can't get a single server IP just from getting the server list. So what other ways apart from connecting could the IP's be obtained.

The devs missed miriam1990's second account, which is 'pmelender', IP address was 86.167.43.109. My home IP was attacked lastnight, they may be banned, but they are STILL causing trouble.

If you can't co-exist, you don't deserve to exist at all.

Yes, we still play.

If you are asking if its worth buying, I will say NO.

LFS WAS a great simulator and was highly worth the money, however, if you want to never be able to connect to your host due to DDoS attacks or wish to be bullied by thughish teams who act like they own LFS and spoil the game for peaceful and innocent players, then this is right up your street. You can enjoy the frustration of being disconnected, told where and when you will play, told who you will ban and unban and generally get ignored by the developers when you complain.

In short, people still play, but I have to wonder how long it will be before you only see one selfish teams server in the list? Go buy it, enjoy, I know everyone else is.

I've watched ICE get attacked through EtherApe today, and whoever was responsible, I hope your e-penis shrunk. All you achieved was a few minutes of lag and a series of IP bans from a perl script.

None of these screen shots prove anything significant. I personally 'believe' this is someone's second account as its only been registered for about 6 months and has only done 3000km, no races and nothing significant on lfsw. Maybe we all need to read between the lines?

Also, I'd hardly call WKD innocent, I think these replays are sufficient evidence of some kind of sabotage.

When I followed him to the WKD drift server it was the owner Nibe (Globb3n or what ever) telling him to do it and that it was gathering people, most of who I should think were complaining. Yes it was WKD users following the instructions of one of the founders...

Also jason, cut the bullshit, when WKD opened this whole argument started, I remember Nibe doing it himself back then. As is says in the first complaint 'minions' not 'members', yes it did happen, does happen and is down to WKD members, head admin or not, your obviously up-aware.
