I enjoyed the race while I was running, for the most part. Thanks again for organizing and hosting this event. I had little practice time available. Forced to retire due to burned up clutch. I hope to be more prepared for the next race.

This is my observation and personal opinion on the issue with the popularity of LFS. It takes hours of testing for most people to get a set correct and may never hit the mark. It gets too involved and intense for the semi casual driver. I feel like more would be interested, if it took less time to be competitive. Just my opinion and I will be happy to run whatever is decided. This is not meant as a criticism, I am looking forward to know the combo’s so I can do a little meaningful running!

My fault, I said one class and intended to suggest one car. If all runners are in the same car, there is no need for equilazation. I don’t have a strong opinion on this, just a suggestion.

A one class league makes the cars equal, why complicate things trying to equalize the cars. I would be a standalone participant and prefer a car such as FZR, FZ5, Open Wheel. I look forward to seeing the details. I live in America, 18:00 CET is 09:00 my time. I am probably the only runner to be this far away. I hope that I can make the races, I am a very big fan of endurance racing and believe it is much more competitive and fun on the open configuration courses, Westhill, Rockingham, Aston, Ferm Bay, all good layouts!

I would like to compete in this cup. However, I am not available on Saturdays.

Sorry, I may be inept, I don't see a remove or delete. I went to edit but cannot see how to remove myself except to erase team and number. Appears that you will need to remove me, I will ask Tiptoe to add me to the team signup.

Hello all! I don't have a lot of free time, but I am looking for some new racing friends on LFS. I plan to drive in the Open Endurance Cup, unless work interferes. I like the goal of this team and will go fill out an application. I can drive on Sundays, sometimes Mondays, sometimes work gets in the way. I enjoy driving, especially with respectful drivers in competitive racing situations. I enjoy driving most of the LFS cars in many combos. Hope to see you on track, whether I am accepted or not!

Funny that i saw this post, I was recently thinking about a PS2 game that has a ghost driving mode. There you run laps and your best lap is ghost car. Its a great way to learn a track, if the ghost is in front, you can duplicate your break points and the apex. If it is behind you, well your better. It really is an amazing tool for setup and lap time improvement. Mabe there could be a way to load one of the ten best laps.

Sorry, I should have posted the specifics. I was able to race in multiplayer with 15-20 cars and no problem. Now, I cannot race in single player with 3 AI cars. I replaced the RAM, now at 4GB, Toshiba laptop, AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-70, 2 GHz, 32-bit. I guess I should first try to delete and get a fresh download. What do you think?

I have had problems lately, after using LFS for a year, the video is choppy. Sometimes it is very subtle, but affects playability, other times it freezes, especially with cars in front, comes and goes. Would a fresh load help? Could it be just my computer, had no problems for first year. Put new memory cards in it and that helped, but still cannot drive multiplayer without it freezing up.

I would Beta test for free Pay would be awsome too

Personally I think LFS is fantastic, how picky can you be when traveling at speed. The only thing I would like to see in LFS is some real tracks (may be difficult I know) We all have our favs so I wont name any here. Historical cars and tracks would be fun too.

****** The big improvement I would like to see is adjustable AI driver strength. I feel that there is nothing more fun (except of course racing real peeps) than setting AI strength higher to keep the racing challenging. Today, I was on As2r and stopped twice in a FXO to let the field pass, and still won a 30 lap race.

Yes, a track builder would be great fun. I would like to see a couple real tracks. Some of the more challanging and famous. Spa, Monza (original Monza config), Laguna, Indy F1, Indy, Road America, Mid Ohio, Long Beach, maybe a new F1 track, Bristol, Nazareth. Any of these would be great. Maybe some historical cars and tracks, early F1 and early Indy cars. Would be very interesting to drive Ray Haroun's (spelling?) car at the original Brickyard, or F1 cars from the 60's.

I would like to see more wing cars and muscle cars. I like the idea of offroad as well, Baja type.

I am new to LFS but because my old desktops would not run it I tried my Toshiba Satellite L305D, has AMD Dual-Core 2.0 GHz, laptop that I bought for business $500 at Best Buy. It runs it great! I am still demo racer (not for long) and I have run online with 12 other drivers in demo and had no major problems. I dont know if full version will be different, I hope not.

I just discovered LFS after being frustrated by F1 2001, I was an avid racer way back when the original IndyCar Racing came out, but have not done much since then. This is a fantastic concept and sim, I am so impressed with the drivability and realistic feel. Kudos to the developers. I am going to buy my license soon, so lookout

I do have a question if anyone can answer. I found some setups to download because I need some good baseline setups. I have looked around in the garage etc. and cannot figure out how to load the setups for use. If someone can help me out I would appreciate it.
