Tried choosing 'Electric Motor' in the transmission option, then fiddled with the engine editor and noticed the sliders go only to 500kw and 1000nm.
Is there anyway to change that?
Interesting point, iv just tested it myself, never noticed that.
Do you know what are the reasons behind such design?
In the miatas for example the hub is in the same position relative to the lower arms, in your picture it looks like the engineers decided to raise the upper arms for some reason.
So i figured that the dedicated server is not available anymore, so we cannot allow cheats.
Adding the option to allow cheats can also be a workaround for the tyres temperature problem.
Since the mods update came out we cannot use tweakers to lock the tyres temperature for drifting anymore.
This means that for me and my friends at least, drifting in LFS is pretty much dead.
How about implementing such feature, until the new physics model will be out? as a temporary solution.
I thought about making it as the following or either of those features:
-A server allowed\disallowed
-New type of drifting tyres
-On\Off button on the setup page, like we have for the TC and ABS
I know such feature might come as an insult for the sim, or confusing for a very small amount of the users (I think making it as a new tyre type can make it look better and understandable) but i dont think its a big deal compared to the options and variety this adds to the sim, especially with the new mods update, which to me feels like it sort of shoot itself in the leg, since i mainly used LFS for drifting and testing out interesting vehicles and setups.
A small regard from one of the team members will be much appreciated, even if its just a simple "No".
[EDIT]

Since 0.7A we got the option to add and modify cars very easily, build whatever we want. But now we cant use tweaks to control tyres temperature for drifting, which is ironic.
As we all know, overheated tyres behaves like on ice in LFS.
I highly recommend you to buy the S2 licsense. In most cases the population have a better quality and for the start i recommend on cargame.nl servers.
They have an automatic safety system but with a much greater tolerance then you told and you can find there a good mix of skill levels.
Well, no offence but i can see your problem, you are "playing" it and you like the tracks and cars, LFS is not about gameplay, LFS is about giving you the most accurate road car based physics engine there is, (rFactor is formula 1 based, so race cars feel spot on but the street cars feel terrible). Iv been driving in LFS for years, now im 23, i drive an MX-5 Mk2 and i can pull off great drifts thanks to years driving in LFS (of course i took a couple of real life driving courses first, but these doesnt grants you the ability to drive on the limits right away). (NO GUARANTEE IS GIVEN :P)
So even though the developers MAY BE a little lousy, this sim worth every damn penny, especially if you are around 14.
Thats realy awsome.
My suggestion, try to replace the blue with near coal black, the white with dark grey and red with kind of pearl white, at least not so bright white, But except for the titles, to make them visible, i think black for the "XF" and white for the "RING SCHOOL".
Or something else similar..
Hello, i hope this is the most suitable forum for this.
Im thinking of buying S2 and i would like to hear how common are the custom servers such as drag, autocrosses, drifting ect...
I like this stuff as i like the more "pro" one.
