Im using a logitech joypad and finding it hard to hold a drift...is there anyway to slow down the turning rate? im using analogue sticks and very heavy thumbed lol
Seems to have stopped once the pc has been shut down. Removing IL2 as we speak to see if that conflicts with it or the other option is my trusty rumblepad 2.
turned out to be a left over profile file after the wingman was uninstalled that was messing it up located in logitech/profile! once removed and everything re installed it is perfect again
Basically there is no FFB on my PC but it works of my Missis Laptop
Im assuming there are some conflicts somewhere as it worked when I first used it.
When I uninstall Wingman it still leaves lots of this behind in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech which I also delete. When i reinstall Wingman it still has info of profile settings for LFS where are these kept??
If I deleted my LFS folder completely! will I lose online progress in LTC etc
yes I can do it manually "select R3 Right paddle" but when trying to alter it via the software nothing happens now. Like I said its as stiff in game as it is on the desktop.
Either the wheel has had it or there is a prob with the software
Edit
GOt the rotation to adjust via software now after another uninstall/install but still no FFB! I do hear a short whining noise occasionally like its trying to do something. Apart from that the wheel rotates etc when booting and returns to center normally, I think the wheel has died after a few hours by the looks of it.
Well when on desktop the wheel has quite a bit of resistence, I assume this is its default force! this I was able to adjust this with the previous drivers I got from the Wingman site by adjusting the center spring strength, but it's not doing nothing now! the wheel feels as tight on desktop as it does in game.
It was bought new and was fine when I first installed everything
FFB is off in games or set very low as I find it annoying, will turn it on when im used to driving with the wheel.
Going to uninstall the latest drivers and put the older ones on, and see if that helps.
Another problem, the wheel is now stiff to turn! iv installed the lastest drivers from logitech, but earlier I was using older ones. Iv tried messing with the settings in wingman but they aint having no effect.
Received my new wheel today and had it working fine earlier! finished gaming and turned off the pc, but when i booted up the wheel isnt working! its been detected in windows and by the wingman thingy but nothing. Also the left LED is flashing if that helps, also there is no resistance while on desktop or in game.
I just downloaded all the top downloads from the custom textures and installed them into the LFS folder, but how do you implement them? like the nicer steering wheel etc?
Sorry Iv been looking through the threads but still lost.
Im currently using a Saitek R440 which is my Girlfriends sons wheel! he will be wanting that back soon so I need a wheel.
The Saitek is alright but the steering dosnt feel smooth its a bit notchy. So what's the next best wheels to the G25? as I dont wanna spend that much on a wheel.
Or is there a list of the top 10 out there somewhere that someone could link me?
