Race is finished and we are still in the part to congratulate the winners again. So, gratulations to the true and deserved winners of mercury, espacially to ray who nearly drove as much laps as johannes did - and as we know, thats normally an unreachable mark grats to low as well, stunning performance to do this race with just 3 racers and so unfortunate to loose a certain victory due to a puncture while braking into the pitlane. grats too to my3id, good performance to a third place, what we tried to avoid, but weren´t able to last but not least grats to the winners of the gt2 class. at least there first racing have had a kinda problem-free race.
so, after all we are a bit disappointed with the 4th place. without our disconnect in the night we would have been able to compete for the victory as well, same for my3id and first.
But the last 15 minutes when i noticed that ray was driving behind me made me remember why i still race lfs. just 45 minutes earlier I was laying sleeping on my desk when hendrik told me to drive that deformed car to the finish line. thank you for that, although my car was too bent to be fast enough
a pity that we have chosen our typical way to practice ("well, race is tomorrow, isnt it? still a lot time") for an event
refering to the video and without reading the whole thread... will that ugly blue tc-light be replaced and the tachometer modified like the real one until the release?
ah yea, the engine sound is a too bit loud, especially with a helmet on your head

first of all, thank you for the congratulations. now i have to wait. vw is kinda like lfs, they tease you and all you can do is to wait eagerly
well ok, the ingame scirocco... the cockpit just as the car model looks very nice, but thats no big surprise i think.
regarding the handling i don´t want to make statements at this point like "feels like a heavier xfg with more hp". the car there has had the hardtrack set and we had to drive with the cheapest wheels which had to suffer under the heavy duty of an exhibition. fact is, we felt the lfs feeling
i wont sign that. after the practice session i thought jero will have the best chances. under "normal circumstances" we would have seen a close race. i guess it would have been jero, closely followed by steffen and vince and an "underdog" doing a good race and waiting for his chance.
imo this race has been one of the worst ever with kinda destruction-derby plus stop&go-action what wasnt really neccessary. u really saw the tension and nervousness of racers and admins.
actually i didnt care before the race who might win. i had no personal favourite and just wanted to enjoy and see the successor of danny engels. very disappointing race with an end i wont wish someone, especially not jero.
anyway, grats here again to everybody who things he deserves it

hoellsen, my testing a couple of days before was with 30 kg and just 5 laps, yes. do u think i start writing here something without doing any more tests or speccing some other drivers?
testraces, yeah. dreaf is as just a fast driver as i am and niki isnt that slow. i dont know who else was driving there. even when they didnt finish stints u can see their laptimes, cant you?
we can do another testrace within the next days, np. but i think it is more fair balanced with no added weight then with 20kg.
all those complaints of the harder to drive car dont count. xrr can stuck in the sandbox with a puncture bla bla, u can read f9. clutch of the fzr is getting to hot, just lift ur pedal a bit more. its just a bit unlucky for the the cars when u can damage the engine with one mistake in 24h hours...anyway
right.we agreed of extra weights when the speed of the xrr wont improve. now we can see the lap chart that it is needed to have a close 24h race and no more additional weight is necessary.
i really dont get it, do u want to force a xrr-win?
