Congrats to winners. Tbh the time challenge was a bit biased towards the XFG/XRG racers (people in demo usually get good at just one car class, FBM or XRG/XFG, not both ) Like if your good at FBM you get 1 decent time, and 2 crappy times If your good at the XRG/XFG you get 2 decent times and 1 crappy time Hope u know what I mean :-D And no Im not bitter lol

I watched the replay and you took the corner too early, bouncing your left side up while cornering left (=G forces pulling the car to right), while the weight was off the car's left side which bounced off the track... Just add these together and I would dare to say you could flip pretty much any car IRL

Quote from Greboth :I can't check because I am at work but are they normal laps or hotlaps? I query because the file name is wrong for hotlaps but you may have renamed them.

I might have saved the laps the wrong way but definately they are legit and hotlaps (if thats the term for the race you start in sc2) While we're at it could you just tutor me how to save the hotlap replay correctly, I just did a lap, hit 2 and gave the file a name , quite sure thats not the right way

Have you even noticed the shape of the kurb in the last corner, its not like usual kurbs its very pointy and high and youre not supposed to drive over it. Its not the game's fault its your fault that youre rolling over

I could propably have done -1sec faster in both XRG and XFG, but I cant drive in hotlap mode cause I cant see my braking / turning points cause of the missing driving line thingy : ) 4.23.99 is my total time so far (if i did the maths right )

use as little curb as possible in 1st chicane, myself i only go slightly over curbs in entry and exits, too much curb and your acceleration will suffer and your tyres get shitty

to OP: (quote not working) its impossible to go faster drifting around the corner than just driving around it, its against the laws of physics when you go in drift your car loses its kinetic energy and your corner exit will be dramatically slower than if you werent drifting.... but thats just obvious btw its lihakasa here

dawgug: Ive done a 1.12x lap in bl1 fbm with just 100% brake and 100% throttle pedal usage, and letting the car "roll" in the corners for brief moments (or whatever u call that "neutral" drive) those facts maybe apply in real life racing, but not in LFS, its possible to fast by just mashing those pedals and going neutral around the corners, you just need the highest possible enter-speed for the corners and maintain that speed trough the corner and youllbe fine, doesnt matter how you achieve that.
