It's just frustrating to see the only two S2+ servers with people driving being Cesav servers, then hopping over to the website to look for the password that cannot be found, then going to Cesav's Teamspeak to find the password for the server but nobody can be bothered to say it, or even explain why they can't give it to me or what I would have to do to be able to do just to join the server. I asked for help, I even registered on the website. Nothing happened. Then I deciced to find a new game

It's no surpise LFS is completely dead when even organized events are not organized in any sensible way. 2017 season has begun. Only members from **** 2002 are allowed to join in because they were told how the joining process works? The reasons to continue playing this game are pretty much non-existent at this point

Update if someone has a similar problem: Unlimiting the FPS in game stopped the lag spikes. Still not perfect, but playable

Yeah, I've tried reinstalling LFS a couple times.

I now downloaded DirectX9 (I was using X12 before) but the situation is unchanged..

Actually, with further inspection of the graph, whenever the frames start to drop/skip the Physics graph starts messing up.

No, the laptop doesn't use anywhere near 100% CPU or memory when doing nothing.

Also I think I forgot to mention that the laptop runs all my other games perfectly, games that are supposed to be a lot more demanding than LFS.

I tried the sleep/physics/wait, not really sure what to make of the graphs though. Sleep seems to miss a bar every now and then, physics is 100% constant and wait is really choppy.

Haven't tried an external display and don't have one at hand just now

Tried XP compatibility mode, sadly nothing changed.

Dell's power saving software is completely turned off and the battery is put to High Performance.

I have no idea what would I look for in the BIOS

I can't play with V-sync, the input lag is too much.

Also sound doesn't appear to become choppy at all.

Hey, I'm having a bit of a problem with LFS. The game seems incredibly choppy and laggy even though the frames per second displayed in the game are at a steady 100 or 200 or whatever.

I'm on a laptop that's definitely good enough to run LFS. I've already tried disabling VSync in game, running the game with the actual graphics card and not the integrated one, upping computer performance to high, making the game high priority for the CPU etc...

Anyone got any other ideas?

So for some reason my fps is being limited to 30fps? And no, it's not limited in the Misc settings. Also changing any graphic settings doesn't affect it. I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell XPS15 and using the dedicated GTX 960M GPU with latest drivers. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Just a moment ago I bought the S2 license for this game. I was excited to finally race against other people driving something different from an FBM. Sadly, that did not happen. Even though you advertise the game having "intense online racing" there simply wasn't ANY to be found. All the servers that supported S2 cars were CRUISING servers - absolutely no racing was involved. Therefore I'd like to request a refund on my purchase.

If this isn't the place to ask for a refund please direct me to where it's possible.
