sorry to post here but i am brand new to lfs and don't see where i can start a new thread.

sooo, my momo problem isn't a momo problem i don't think. i think it is a lfs problem.

i began my set up and every thing went fine UNTIL i i traid to drive.l after a little fiddling i was able to get the wheel working ok, the brakes apparantly ok and the throttle ok.

but-- no shifting, not as auto,or anything else. i selected sequential which it is but my car just sits there revving.

any help will be appreciated as there doesn't seem to be human to speak with. (i-racing has live assstance and it is invaluable).

help please.

i think i will just skip. too bad. but i can't afford to crash my pc and don't have the technical ability to go through everything that was suggested in the othesr forum.

unfortunately this is going to be the same problem with almost all sims.

before i start downloading anything into my sucky vista64 os i would like to know that it is compatible. havn't yet found the answer.

i am brand new here, and totally lost. i mainly need help with hardware. what is the minimum and what is the medium pc? is there a preferred graphics card? what about processor speed? i know that what i have now is inadequate. i would be happy if someone helped me here by using my email address of [email protected] to answer.
