Tested for approx 30 min and it works like a charm. I can even run a digital speedo app (using the same outgauge port) together with fanaleds which makes me very happy!

I have set the OutGauge parameters according to Fanaleds instruction. The shifter lights do work for a while. It was also according to Fanaleds instruction that I used the Insim command (but I don't know what it does).

The Fanaleds application crashes every 5-10 minutes and the shifting lights on my SRW-S1 wheel stop working and freezes.

I then need to go to the Fanaled application and try to exit the program which takes some time since it responds very slowly. One mouse click takes 4-5 seconds before it is recongnised. After another 10 seconds the lights on the wheel go out and I can start Fanaleds again and play for another 5-10 minutes.

The first day I played it worked flawlessly but the next day the crashes started. Perhaps it had to do with rebooting my PC? Just a thought...

I have searched various sources and tried:

1. Changing USB-port from USB 3 to USB 2.
2. Various settings in the Fanaleds application.
3. Various settings in lfs.cfg.
4. Tried with and without typing "/INSIM=29999" in LFS and enabling it in the Fanaleds application. (B T W, the shifting lights seem to work without INSIM so what is INSIM for anyway???)


Anyone that had the same problem that I have and possibly have a solution?

I got the SRW-S1 wheel (only ~€10 in Sweden, www.cdon.se!) and it works much better than expected.

The shifting lights works only in Simraceway. There is a downloadable patch from Steelseries to get the shifting lights to work in other games. But unfortunately this does not help with LFS.

I know that there are som fixes to get the G-27 to work and I wonder if anyone have had any luck with the SRW-S1? Or any other ways to make the shifting lights to work?

Is there a handheld wheel out there anywhere in the European market?

I don't want to buy a "normal" wheel because of the size and it would be nice to have a smaller control to bring when I'm travelling. There was something called UltraRacer PC some time ago but it is not available anymore.


Any suggestions?
