I wish I could ride Scirocco in TDI Engine configuration.

I'm not here often but I ocasionaly log in here to see what progress is made with next upcomming patch. And what I see is always huge amount of new posts and nothing concrete!. Everyone here is smarter than other, creating theories and answers... " Maybe this... or maybe that..."
It would be less garbage posting here when devs would be more often here joining community in discussion. Or just tell more often what progress is made in creating this patch. Only progress I saw for recently 6 months is cosmethic meanless changes.

For 100 posts only one is Scawens here. Doubtfully is its because of devs are overworked I think.:ashamed:

Can someone know what progress is made with new upcoming patch with scirocco?

jeez What are u all so nervous about? If someone have licence thats good! But dont discriminate demo users. If someone have interest to post here this is first step to get involved in LFS community matters. And maybe later buy a licence

As for lfs settings..all maxed out with aa and aff...around 70-80 alone 40-50 during race and teh minimum i saw was about 22-25 with all cars on T1...my pc is gettin old...ok enough from me now.

Well for sure this is their "baby". But 3 member development team its a well non usual. Thats why they are making this game whole those years... And maybe I wrote this thread because I want it so much to be a completed fully funcional with awsome DX10 graphics

I was thinking lately about S2 development and comunity here. There are a lot of threads that shows us how much talented are members here. Addons thread, Textures, sounds, other mods.

The point is... Why developers can't use knoledge, skills and especially free time of members here and help themself to make a great car simulation.

I think there are a lot of people here that are know how to professionally use: photoshop, 3dsmax or programming tools. I know how hard and how much time is needed to make for example a good textures, Eric, Scawen, Victor, they all may use some ideas, and comunity work here and well.... speed up a development a bit.

It may be a competition for example to make a 2d track design, or best looking concentrate texture.

Fell free to discuss about it. But please don't flame me. Its a good or bad idea? What do u think?

I am behind router he is connectable. I openned port 63392 so everything was alright. But after 5 minutes He have disconnected with no reason. Same if he make a server... Whats wrong?

Saying Oblivion looks ridiculous? Have you seen Oblivion running on a PC? After all it isn't a screenshot generator. I don't know - this whole conversation is getting over run with LFS die hard fans that will say or do anything to praise LFS at all costs and put down any other PC game ever made ... I like a good discussion about GFX in a PC game.. but I can only handle so much BS.. C-ya.

and Gforce. Driving a car on tarmac is like driving on perfectly flat terrain. no bumps at all. Take a look of that Renault videos. Look what kind of gforces and what size of that camera shaking is. In LFS there is a lack in feeling of speed. Because of that lack of gforce.

Great example is in MOTOGP 2 . There are great cameras there

I wish I can make a city track for lfs. With crossroad lights. Signs.. GREAT FUN!!!

force of ther road pushing on the outside for sure

backfire is a cool effect. Especially seen on WRC cars... It is amazing sometimes. And I think backfires have all kind of racing cars... GTR, WRC, GT. I dont know anything about a reason why this effect does exitst but it is cool ...
