Thanks for your help guys. I've tried a number of different things and setups and I'm slowly getting the hang of things. I've managed to get my time into the 1'34.9s

I don't want to hijack the thread but I didn't want to add another help me thread and this one has been helpful. I've gotten down to the mid 135s. I can't figure out how to do turn one and the chicane properly but I'm basically losing time throughout the lap. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys. I figured it out. It's only partly my fault. The RAF files from LFS World are 10Hz while my files are 100Hz. so the other files are smoothed out to some extent. It just seemed odd that I was significantly less smooth than guys that I was faster than. Still need to work on it. I was better last night and cut another .250 off my time.
Wheel issue or skill issue

After seeing the threads on improving times on BL1, I thought I'd give it a shot (I haven't played much LFS). I've gone from high 1'39s to mid 1'36s. I was using rafs from some of the faster times to try and improve mine and I noticed that the gcircle for my laps were considerably more jagged than the other racers. I then checked a couple of racers who were my speed or slower and found that they were considerably smoother as well. Is this an issue with my wheel or my skill? Thanks

I think there are two different questions here. First is was it his fault for hitting you. Second is should you have attempted the pass in the first place. Both are hard to answer with just the pictures. It looks like you had significant overlap before turn in and maybe before the braking point. To me that means you had the right to space in the corner. Therefore the accident was his fault. As for the second question, it looks to me as if you really locked your brakes trying to make the pass. That can't be good for your tires. I don't know how fast you are going but the other does have the right to space in the corner so if you are still going to fast, you may not have been able to give him that space. If that is the case and he didn't hit you, you might have ended up hitting him. The pass attempt itself may have been ill-advised.
