Quick setup for barrel rolls/two wheel driving.

Suspension:
Stiffness: as high as it'll go
Damping: None whatsoever
Ride Height: As high as it'll go.

It's like driving on a trampoline when you shift the weight. When I was doing doughnuts in the parking lot, I actually had it hopping up and down on all four wheels.

It's great fun. I call it my "Bronco" setup due to how much the car likes to bounce around in turns.

I've got a pic of me on two wheels in my GT on one of the sweepers on Blackwood. I actually made the turn, but while I was trying to straighten up, the car just flopped over. One problem. I'm not sure how to get it uploaded.

To reduce the level of realism to include a few cars would be lame, I completely agree. However, that's not what I was talking about. I think that the problem with the tire grip needs to be solved, regardless of what cars are added into the game. The point I was trying to make is that until that problem is solved, any muscle car rendered in the current physics settings (with its high levels of torque and body roll) would be nearly uncontrollable. I'm not the only one who thinks that there's a problem with the grip in this game...you'll find mentions of the problem scattered all throughout this forum. I just wanted to say that while I feel that muscle cars in Live for Speed would be awesome, I thought I should say that I thought that any potential addition of a high-torque car should wait until this bug is squashed.

(And I know you weren't trying to flame me. There are many that think there is nothing wrong with the physics of LFS as-is, but there are also many who feel that there is room for improvement.)

Since I've never lived anywhere but the US, it's strange to think of these cars as being foreign, but seeing how many of you are European, it would probably be odd for you to think of them as domestic. I've grown up around these cars, and I've learned to revere them as part of our automotive history, as I'm sure our European brothers have their Aston Martins, Lancias, and Audis.

Speaking as an American, these cars are special to us. They represent individuality and expression, power and elegance...it's hard to explain. Muscle cars in Live for Speed would be an excellent addition, (speaking for myself now) and would make the experience that much more fun.

However, to add these cars to LFS would present a problem. Under the current physics settings, these cars would be nearly impossible to control, given their astronomical levels of torque. Imagine the RaceAbout, with twice the torque and the body roll to match a Spitfire. Not a pretty picture. If the grip problem that seems to plague many of the rear-wheel drive cars in this sim could be eliminated, then I think that muscle cars would be an excellent addition to the garage.
