Haven't played in years (I think the last time I was active, racing daily was in 2010), and randomly thought of LFS while playing Assetto Corsa. Installed and was surprised there were 400 people online. I get into the server browser and I almost chuckled to see the stupid cruise servers were still a thing, then I hit "sort by number of racers" and it's a pee pee pants city -moment when I realize there are literally no s2 racing servers from all the drift, roleplay and drag nonsense.

I have hundreds of hours spent in this game and my fondest memories are from the FM (?) FOX racing server and after that cargame, sadly both of which seem pretty dead.

So the question I guess is, are there public servers where you can still have a good race? Cheers.

kinda speaks for itself, honestly dont think there will be more to come in LFS and the only reason hes keeping this website up is to hopefully fish at least some customers

I was playing on the server today (CAD Destruction Derby?) and after hitting one of their members out of the race, I was called a "bitch", I did it again for laughs sake and was banned No explanation but I guess its quite obvious

Did I miss the point, I thought crashing others (other than fullspeed ram and blocking) is allowed on Destruction Derby?

All I did was PIT their member (as one of them did to me previously) and push the other to sand pit in a corner in AS3 (banned now)

This is the case, car textures and half the hud looks like barf, this didnt happen on my old monitor (19" @1280x1080)

It fixed when I put on AF and mini mapping on from CCC (which I dont like) but only for like 5mins when I alt tabbed out, the problem was back <.<

Demo racing lacks serious challenge, how does one find interesting to drive around one track/car combo and continuously bang TOP lap while not even racing but just driving along (talking mostly about FBM which is seriously easy and dull to drive, stupidly much grip, adjust braking in mid corner etc)

Why should I even bother going over to their crappy forum, wait for their admins to activate my account, make a well made post with effort put in it and then be flamed/circlejerked by bunch of pissed off 13-15yr olds?

edit: oh btw, ignore this intellectual gem above me for your own sake, every time I join a server he tries to ban me be4 I even join the race, swear at me in finnish, QUESTION me for the meaning of random english words 'what is vegetable?' (wtf...) and claim to be 17, me myself im not gonna waste my time on him, if you want to check out the replay go for it, most likely all it shows is a racing incident, which involved him crashing and triggering his nerdrage

Just received 2 day ban for 'wrecking 3 people', when I spun in a corner and some guy managed to hit me (one of the admins friends)

Ive always played this game with the green line showing, since the first day, I just cant race properly without it I can get within 0.5-1sec of WR's but when I turn off the line I start going slower and missing my braking/turning points, its just so much easier to get the picture of the track when you got the line there.

Have been banned for days from there for having been pushed off the track by some racer/admin (he didnt see me), losing control and crashing into him. Or hitting some1's rear cause hes driving like miss daisy and I got no time to react -> PRESS 1 CRASHRZ!!!

Occasionally you get good races there but its mostly just demolition derby

I joined the server 5sec be4 getting banned. And you cant see the 2 other ppl get banned in 2sec?
