+ Ridiculously short loading times (as low as 1 second)
+ Incredibly low specs required (I play on my integrated Intel at 60fps because I limited it)
+ Very good physics, specially on cars like MRT, UF1, FBM
+ Sweet and simple multiplayer
+ Huge open areas for fun
+ Amazing tracks
- Sound feels old now
- FF is good but got a bit old
- Clutch implementation is not very realistic

AC:
+ Very good FF
+ Nice set of cars
+ Very good implementation of realistic damage
+ Good control with three pedals
- Loading times are exasperating
- Technically it's not polished at all (cannot have my desktop at 4k and run the game at 1080)
- Very high hardware requirements

Sorry for the thread rebump but I need to say what I feel.

I was a very active user since 2004 until 2009, running in leagues and that kind of stuff. But I had to leave sims for personal reasons.
Some weeks ago I came back, and I have a high-end PC so could try many other sims (very popular ones).
AC frustrated me because of the technical aspects: it's not polished and I ran into several bugs and user interface situations. And the performance was subpar even using my GeForce 1080 Ti.

And this didn't happen with LFS. It's so polished that I never had a technical problem with it. It loads fast, runs at 60fps even with my IGP (I use that one to avoid the fans noise).
Do I need to create a server? I can do it without leaving the game, in 3 clicks.
Do I have 5 minutes? No problem, since I click on the icon until I'm inside the car is a matter of 15 seconds.
And I bought the S3. Because I saw SO MANY CHANGES and updates that I felt it was a totally new game: new tracks and variants, finally two karting tracks, open maps with lots of streets and buildings, ... AMAZING.
And turns out that my son wanted to try so I bought him the S2 and I got a new wheel, just for LFS.

So yes, LFS doesn't have new cars. Who wouldn't love that?
No weather change, no day change, no new tyres physics ... but it's still the sim of my life. I didn't buy S3 because of the contents (I don't race for now in Rockingham) but as an appreciation to the content that I enjoy and didn't have to pay for.

I can't wait for the updates, Scavier, but I'll wait while racing

I was searching for LFS videos when I found this one: (removed)

This **** is explaining how to set up LFS with their "LFS Pro" (sic) community, and they don't use the demo but use a cracked LFS.exe to register the game using another servers than the officials.
I tried to report the video but, for copyright infringements, only the owner can do it (maybe @scawen can do it)

It really makes me sick finding this kind of things

Oh ,yeah ... maths have spoken most of LFS physics engine than on our driving skills.
Is reallistic to have a car landing over a bunch of cars just for a scratch?
How can you judge the drivers using the maths generated for something buggy?

I think you have a far bigger problem with your drivers, this new lack of reset will help them learn - you need to come off the throttle sometimes to finish.

The rare times that LFS messes up collisions are almost always in a scenario when the car would not have finished anyway. So it retired by going to orbit rather than retired by doing a Kubica... It's not the end of the world.

If you are having 60% of your drivers retire because of it. Seriously, you have a problem with your drivers.

I'm apart from tracks now due to house moving but will be back in a month or two.

Im taking a look at the B&W manual and only Scawen and Eric are credited.

I've noticed today that , instead the other times I checked before, in my online racer details don't appear my team assignment (just a "n/a").
The info in the "LFS Teams Search" seems ok anyway.
