Why don't you buy the full game before complaining maybe than you would have a lot of content. You of all people have no right to demand anything from the developers, or the community since your not really devoting anything to the success of lfs, go whine somewhere else.
I run everything on vista ultimate 32bit version and lfs runs perfectly fine. What ever issue your experiencing is either, other software or hardware conflict on your parts. Also disable uac that is one of the main reasons why people have a lot of problems. I can play old games such as fallout 1 and 2 more recent games such as rFactor and lfs just fine. Also if you have an nvidia video card that may cause a lot of issues for you on vista, i have an x1900xt and everything runs flawlessly, except for stalker running slower becuase the developers are morons.
NO he means update your drivers, bois and other software updates that may be available at the acer website. Could help with the problems you are haveing. Also if you want the 250 fps you gonna have to get a better laptop that has a decent video card. LFS isn't even all that demanding, hell i got it running on my voodoo4 but that thing is ancient now. Anyway either purchase a desktop which is cheaper and has at least a 9800 pro which should give you 80 to 85 fps at max setting with AA and AF or keep struggling with fps issues. Your choice but you can find cheap parts to build an old computer that can run lfs like butter, and i mean spending no more than $350 buck on a system that should run lfs 10 times better than what you have now. Anyway just a suggestion.
That happens to me all the time on my x1900xt, it is just screwy ati drivers being difficult, there are times where it makes no sense why AA will not work. I usually play around with the settings, and eventually get it working but this isn't a new thing, mainly happens with lfs though.
No i usualy drive with the right foot does gas and brake but iam really good at driving all left, and iam not kidding, i do have a truck with alot of leg room though so that could be the reason why i can do it with out a problem.
Unlike you chaps i have done both gas and brake on left foot only and well it takes a little practice and a little finesse, also i get bored using the right foot so i switch to all left for both gas and brake in real life , not in lfs, in lfs i use left for brake and rgiht for gas, but i guess iam special, even though iam a righty i can switch at any time, even playing soccer i can use the other leg to do the same task.
glad i sold the two copies of n2k3 i had, i got 125 dollars a piece and thtat got me some new hardware to pretty much running anygame out now at maximum detail, lfs never had a problem running on max on my 9800pro but now with x1900xt lfs would need to have 15 times its current detail to make my system run it slow, oh yeah lfs by far has the best feel in physics and i own every sim thats been released, except i dont turn all fanboy on any sim again whats the point of limiting your selection, one way or another if you play one game for to long you will be bored at one time or another. I play what i feel like playing during the week and if the game is lfs or rfactor its irrelevent to me.
Well my friend bought the game today and i loaned him my microsoft force feedback wheel, he had the none force before , there goes another person who joined the lfs community. now the other freind is next.
He did but it was months ago and he wastn paying attention to it when i tried to show him the game, now that i was over his house i showed him the demo version and i couldnt remember my password to show him more of the content. he is a nascar fan to so i wanted to show him the oval track, so maybe that would of been a better incentive for him to buy the game.
you cant cheat something you like and this game is the bread and butter of the 3 developers trying to make it in a crowded game market wich shuns creativity and only wants things that sell so i would never let this game get pirated.
he wont steal my info, and ive known the guy for years, iam just trying to make him buy the game so i can play online with somone i actually know. plus he will be getting a beating if he decides to steal my account.
i showed him the demo and i want him to buy the game , but he wanted to see more of the cars, so far he liked the demo. anyhow would it be ok to allow him to use one of my unlocks before he buys the game.
i drive a v8 chevy silverado and this truck is a gas guzzler like no other, a full tank can barely get me threw the week, and insurance would be insanly high if it was on my name , thats why its on my dads name.
my thumb is getting numb from hitting F5 to many times, guess patience is all i need for know and so do some of the other lfs fanatics jumping up and down like crackheads needing a fix.
dam it only 95 people from my native country own lfs, eh considering how small albania is and how small their incomes are thats a pretty good number , to bad i dont know any of those 95 people. any how if your albanian say hello. oh and last but not least thanks for showing up in one of my threads Scawen , i dont know if it was you or the other to guys that i told about my weekly reinstaling windows xp and running out of licenses.the reason i did that was becuase i had a virus i didnt know about it and it was all over my saved files and things that got installed became corupted , the exe would get messed up, any how dam that parite b virus, made me hate my pc for a year cuase everything kept crashing and i couldnt figure out how to fix it. got avast solved the problem , ........idiot who didnt believe in virus progams:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
iam just curios becuase when i was on lfs world i saw alot of people from albania that i didnt think new about this game , except for me. do the numbers they show give the results for the demo playera and full lfs owners or just the people who actually own it only.
this is my first post on this forum, so lets make it a good one by wishing you a happy birthday scawen and hope to see more of your talents put into S3.
