Thats the thing though, y is it only LFS that is slow?
Plus it never used to be until now.

All other online games are perfect.

Its like using 56k again.
Surely there's a router thing, or some sort of setting i could change
to help this?

I miss the old master server,
pings on the list of games
have been rediculously high for the past few days now.

it seemed to be fine before, servers ranged from 50-70ms
now its more like 190-5000ms!

unplayable!

i know a few overs who have been having the same prob.
any ideas?

The demo servers seem to be fine though!??

As said it should be more reliable,
but what about the performance of it all.

i can see the new master server list but
still see 90% of the games as 4000+ ping!

i can only join 1 or 2 and even though the others only have 3-4 racers in,
its still massive ping and unplayable on them.

Ok guys so if this competition thing aint gonna work for us,
sending cd's to record companys is a waste of time
and travelling to london (or another place) to chat with manager's etc isnt an option,
then what would you recommend we do?

It does looks like we are doin pretty well on the competition website right now so fingers crossed.
But we could use some advice as we are stuck for luck on what to do.

We thought we could post fliers saying "support your local band" and little things like that but im not convinced that would help at all.

i wasnt even trying to make an offending post.

just coz the other bands played instruments in there songs means nothing.
i play the piano and guitar but theres too much of that goin around these days.
its all a bit boring in the music industry.
the same old guitar riffs, same old vocals
just boring.

For those of you that dont know i am a musician in real life and
a member of a group called "LIFEBLOOD"

We specialise in Drum and Bass, Alternative, Dance, Popular and
all kinds of music genre's.

We have submitted a track called "its ok now" to a website where
each band's song is nominated to go through to the next round of a competition.

Completing all the rounds of this competition leads up to being able
to perform at a gig and a possible recording contract.

To make it through the rounds we need nominations for our song.
We would like it if any of you would b kind enough to

You will also get a chance to listen to the song and see what u think.

my service provider is Force9.
theyre great, never had no problem or anything.

i tried it around 12 oclock midday and it was fine

then at 4pm the servers were pingy.

ok tday i tried searching the servers again on LFS
and the servers were great ping 30,40,50ms etc

but when i tried a few hours later (without changing any settings or anything) it was back to normal and server pings were way high.

this happens occasionaly and i dont even restart my computer or anything it just happens randomly with LFS.

hey all

i got a problem where 90% of the servers in the
server list are around 700 ping or more.

ive never had this problem b4 patch U.

it cant b my connection as i have 8mb

and everyone esle see's the servers as like 60 ping or so.

All the other games i play such as call of duty 2 have great pings
its just lfs :/

please help if possible
