Hey, after many years without updates its normal that the community lack of activity (race events, racers etc).
But developers are active again so in near future LFS will be active again.
Developers release new stuff=racers coming back. Simple.

BTW i dont think that most complain. We found a bit weird the low FPS at few points of the track (while usually FPS are over 100) and thats all

i think isnt about low specs hardware, the frame drop at some points at Westhill. I usually have over 150fps but at 1-2 corners frames drop at 80.
Problem is at even at 80 i am facing lag for a moments, which isnt usual for 80fps.
Maybe the memory usage is the problem, as a friend above mention.

Did few laps, karting national looks very funny!

As for International, looks more like real track at my eyes but its a bit more flat and i already missed the old.
Maybe its location changed to Netherlands now

Well, LFS isnt at its best about racing and full servers but there are still some good events to keep you racing everyday.

The development is slow. Very slow. But they work from time to time and give some patches (without new content).

what makes you believe that building TRR after that is easiest than beginning a new team from scratch?
