Quote from Kada_CZ :I think, that narcis (and me too :shy would like to retrieve handicap mass and restriction. This information is already in the hotlap SPR file header (bytes 28 and 29), but it would be handy this to apear for example in get_stat2.php?action=hl. Usually it doesn't make sense to apply voluntary restrictions in hotlaps. For our Czech league, we use hotlaps from lfsworld to divide racers into several divisions and we would like to be able to easily check required restrictions for some car. I hope it makes sense now .

Exactly, this is the idea I am trying to explain, thanks .

It does not make sense to have mass restriction in online mode, and haven't this restriction in HLVC mode in a league, because the times needed to split racers into several pools wouldn't have mass restrictions, and in the race (online) these same racers would race WITH mass restrictions.

In a league with only one available car, this is not a problem, but using a car group that have GLOBAL handicaps applied (TBO for example), this IS a problem, because the time differences between the group cars will be different in HLVC (pre-race) and online (race).

I think I have explained the problem better .

Thanks .

Hi, this would be VERY useful for us and I'm sure this will be useful also for other LFS leagues.

http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=28019

It is indispensable to have the handicaps information in the data returned by the LFSWorld script (online times and HL times) in order to organize an LFS league with handicaps.

Thanks in advance.

Well, after our race at BL GP rev yesterday, I can assure that the limit on this track is 32 racers .

We could use this thread to post the limits for every track, and I could edit the first message to join all the limits found by the people.

It would be very important to answer this question, please .

Quote from Becky Rose :Blackwood GP: 32 (90% sure)
Blackwood RallyX: 24 (based on your info above)
Blackwood Carpark/Autocross: 16
South City Sprint 1&2: 16
South City Classic/Town/Long: 30
Fern Bay: <unknown to me>
Westhill; Kyoto; Aston: 32 (90% sure)

Thank you for the info.

What means exactly this 90%? Are you not sure about the limitation in these tracks? Have you tried it?
Allowed drivers in each track

Hi, I write from liveforspeed.es.

Patch X allows until 32 drivers, we knew there are tracks with known limited capacity (SO sprint 1 and 2), but yesterday we raced at BL rallycross rev, and we saw that it only allows 24 drivers at same time.

The question is: is there any way to know how many drivers allows each LFS track? (it is very useful to know this information when anyone want to organize an LFS league)

Or simply this limitation of BL Rallycross is an error and it permits 32 drivers?

Thanks in advance.

Edited:

Limit found
BL1 and BL1r ==> 32 racers
FE Gold ==> 32 racers

Quote from Scawen :Yes you can see it in your account details at www.lfs.net

Ok, now I have seen. Maybe it can be useful too to put this information in section "My LFSW Credit" ==> "Payments & expenses" on LFSworld page (currently there is information about pounds expended on skins but not the number of skins available). At least I visit much more LFSWorld page that lfs.net .

Thank you anyway, and keep with this fantastic development of LFS .

First of all: Thanks for the work .

And then a question about high resolution skins download service: is there any way to know what number of high resolution skins I have downloaded? It can be useful to know when we are near the 2000 skins downloaded .

Quote from Fischfix :i think one of the best improvements which helps with frame rate is to reduce the quality of the mirrors. i think for most people and especially those with a slower computer do not need to see the bottom left champion sticker on the front pumper of the car two cars behind.

another great option would be as mentioned above an option where i can set like: maximum cars drawn. so there are only the XX closest cars drawn

I agree with you!
Handicaps information in MPR header

Few days ago, when the W9 patch was out, I suggested that SPR header had handicap information in the header. For leagues can be useful also that MPR header contains the handicap information for every player .

Thanks .

leagues request : include handicaps to hotlaps header

...

Reading this post I have seen that it could be possible also for the online times script (there are some leagues that uses also the online times as inscription ones).

Good work .

Great patch, thanks for that! .

A little idea: for leagues it would be fantastic that we could know if an HLVC lap has been done with voluntary restriction (in this moment I don' know if the restrictions are available in HLVC mode, but this idea thinks so).
It can be very useful for the inscriptions in a league for example, in order to know if an HLVC is "valid" inside the rules of this league.

So, the idea is to add new data values in the HLVC times script: the voluntary restrictions (x Kg of weight and % of air restriction).

Sorry for my english and I hope you can understand what I mean with this proposition :P.

Quote from Dygear :Why not just take that data and if the track name is not equal to what you want then don't add it to your array, or what ever your storeing it in.

Because the premium pubstat service costs more $$$ if you get more data...And the "size of all times" is >>>>>> "size of times I want each time"

Hi. Is possible to get, for example, the list of PBs of any racer in one track?? Why always getting all the PBs or HLVC if I only want to know the times in a concrete track or in a car?

I want to use something like this:

http://www.lfsworld.net/pubsta ... acer=narcis&track=000

And the output would be something like this:

000 FXO 89480 138
000 RB4 88370 239
000 XFG 93180 1047
000 LX6 82480 30
000 XRT 91230 11

(only my times in bl gp normal)
Thanks .

It would be possible to put an extra option in the script to get the team list amb their members?? (the team list in lfsworld)

It would be very useful for a project that we (lfs-spain) have about a international competitions web page focused in teams.

Thanks

I from lfs-spain, and in our leagues, 24 hours before the race start, the web decide randomly if the race will have low wind, strong wind, or will be a race without wind..

In real life, the drivers don't choose the athmosferic conditions .

Quote from Krane :If you use the dedicated server it doesn't need to be very powerful PC, yours might work adequately for 8 players. More important is the servers upload capacity. [b]In theory, 512kbit upload could support 23 players.[]/b But there's not much margin. If you open LFS and go to Multiplayer->Start New Game you can see on the calculator how much upload X amount of players takes.

This is incorrect...To serve to 23 players, you need a line with an upload of 1.2 mbps at least
