Hi there,
I don't know if that's the right place to post, but as there is a possibility for Team Race-Star to withdraw from the series due to lack of driver availability, I'm (eventually) looking for a team that I can help out for the rest of the series, as I would really like to finish the season.
I'm not looking for a new team (for now ), though. Just offering my help.
In my opinion the start was a joke. That wasn't double file at all. The second positioned car was driving single file behind the leader, with the following cars nearly driving into each other. Another point which makes me think was the green flag, which was - I don't know if it was supposed to be - way too early. That pretty much caused some confusion it seems to me.
That's just my point of view, I wonder what other teams think about the start.
• The correct lap: Lap 1
• The cars (/teams) involved: 13 / 27
• The lap/sector/time: last split, just before green flag
• And a short description from your point of view: when green flag was shown, #27 immediately crossed our racing line, causing contact and pushing us into pit entry and loosing some positions.
But as I told Ben already, Hugo knew that our car would rejoin the track, so it is his fault, too. He also got a warning for ignoring the accident. So that makes our penalty just ridiculous.
• The correct lap: 65
• The cars (/teams) involved: #02 and #01
• The lap/sector/time: Sector 1, T2
• And a short description from your point of view: #01 pushed us out because of late braking, causing us to spin, even though we were clearly in front.
