The G25 almost moves as fast as that wheel when your in game. And to me it looks like he is moving that wheel about 720lock. I am no drifter but that comparison could be done with a G25 and that movie i could imagine.

Well the G25 uses a optical encoder for the wheel. All metal parts just about for the pedals. and the wheel and pedals are heavy!

I have the wheel and love the thing. IMO for the price is the best mass market wheel out for what you get.

GTR 1 and 2 / GTL are using ISI's Core 1.0 Physic's Engine. Rfactor is a 2.0 version of the ISI engine which is abit different.

But GTR 1/2 and GTL are just using there Core engine. They have there own custom things in there that Rfactor can not do. Live track system for one for the Simbin products.

When they purchase the Code from ISI there is more then just a mod created. I guess that would make anything using the Quake engine a mod from there physics when they sell it. They purchase the code so they can modify it as they need it.

well not sure of the pin out on it. I used this USB http://www.lbodnar.dsl.pipex.com/joystick/index.html and here is what i found with the pots perhaps this can help?

But you also can use a VMeter on each end to find the pin placements.

I also went from Step range 0-255 on all pedals to these. They are now super smooth. I was having some sensitive braking issues with N2003 and they are all now gone!!!

LFS has also transformed into a much smoother pedal situation after this add-on for the pedals.

Using the Z , RX and RY Axis.
Gas= 980-123
Brake= 972-91
Clutch= 967-124

I believe instead of returning the entire product. Could you just have logitech send you another shifter? under there manufacturer warranty?

Hmm sorry just noticed this was for need for speed. But odd that this would not work with there software in LFS.. Have you also double check to click the separtate axis in the pedel section of setup?

Found this on Thrustmasters page.

http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng ... d=2&pid=20&cid=12

For the following wheels :

“360 Modena”
“360 Modena Pro”
“360 Spider”
“Nascar Pro Digital 2”

If the “Thrustmapper programming Software v 4.02” is not installed
1) Install the patch “TM_NFS_Patch”
2) Start the game and then access the game’s options in order to configure your wheel.

If the “Thrustmapper programming Software v 4.02” is already installed
1) Install the patch “TM_NFS_Patch”
2) Launch the Thrustmapper and switch your wheel to 2 axis mode.
To do so, choose “Combined Pedals” and not “Separate Pedals”
The 2 pedals are now combined on ‘‘Y Axis’’

3) Save your profile and exit the Thrustmapper
4) Start the game and then access the game’s options in order to configure your wheel.

Remarks :

* To uninstall the patch, you have 2 possibilities :
- Launch the install of the patch and choose « Remove » when prompted by the InstalShield.
Or - In the Windows Control Panel: go to « Add or Remove Programs», choose « Thrustmapper – Need For Speed ™ Most Wanted Patch » and click “Remove”)

* If you install the « Thrustmapper » after the patch, then you will have to uninstall and re-install this patch, otherwise it will not be functional.

[Patch "TM_NFS_Patch"] 1.09MB

hello I am new to LFS But been racing online since 93. The setups on one folder has confused me abit until i can get a good naming system down. I have always seen folder per track management work the best for sorting.

O and on topic yeah thats not a bad idea with more information in the setup when you recieve one.

this is directly from the manual webpae. I did this and it removed the studdering for me. / When you do so make sure you do not have the computer scan for the best driver. Manually pic the driver to reinstall. Worked like a charm for me.

http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/F ... sn.27t_have_this_issue.3F

The game stutters/freezes approximately every 5 seconds while playing online and single player mode doesn't have this issue?

For some updating the Windows ACPI drivers has cured the issue. First backup all important data. Then go to device manager and expand the computer setting, and right click on Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC and choose update driver from the list.
