well, i want to make ther server accessable from the net. i could care less for LAN connections. im kinda workin on a 24/7 dedi server, and i dont want to host it all the time on my main comp. cuz if i want to play... i have to stop the server and run LFS Full and run the server that way, or it lags hella for everyone. i know it works fine runnin a Dedi off a different comp on the LAN cuz ive done it before... and now its not workin... *frustrated*

non of that worked... i dont get why it wont work... its set up the same way as it is for my main comp and that one works...

Okay, this would be my last problem i have.

I have 2 computers, Main and Server.

Main computer of course is what i use to play LFS and the Server Comp is were the Dedi Server is run by. I have a Linksys router, which i do have the ports opened for LFS "63392" and "29339" for both comps Main comp can run a dedi server fine, its my Server comp that is having the problem.

Both comps are running XP Pro, Windows Firewall, connects through a Linksys router to the net.

Dedi Server works on both, for my Server comp the Dedi server will run connecting under Master, but users can only connect LAN and not world wide.

can anyone help me?... if ya need more info just ask

okay i got it fixed now, i remember how i did it last time it did this to me... its just a performance and quality settings... i had them all set for performance and thats what screwed up the graphics like that... it was the vertical refresh thing that did it

Graphics Problem

i know this might have came up somewhere else too, but i cant find it, but heres my problem

i know its somethin to do with my graphics settings or somethin, cuz i had it working when i just had my drivers installed for my ATI card... then i went and installed the catalyst control center and now its all messed up

anybody know what to do about this problem? I even deleted the "card_cfg.txt" file to reset my graphics card settings, showed the same thing so i put the original "card_cfg.txt" file back and it still all messed up

well i kinda figured it was case sensitive, either way i tried still came up with those errors... like, if i used the lfs.pid way... it would show that file, but with the lfs.sh file i got off of the powie site, it started giving me those errors. I will come back to this later, its night time for me and i gotta work in the morn. if theres more info u need from me, just ask

Linux Version: Mandrakelinux Version 10.2 (Limited Edition 2005) i586 (aka Mandriva Linux)
Wine Version:wine-0.9.19-mdk.i586.rpm

I have a graphics card on the server machine,

Errors:
- Warning: the specified Windows directory L"c:\\windows" is not accessible.
- Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\\windows\\system32" is not accessible.
- Warning: could not find DOS drive for current working directory '/home/guberx/lfs', starting in the Windows directory.
- wine: could not load L"c:\\windows\\system32\\lfs.exe": Module not found

which to me doesnt make any sence on why it would be looking for those

I just fallowed the powie tutorial.
