I just searched for this, great minds and all that 😄, it really needs to be done! Maybe if the Devs were somehow able to implement it so that server admins could chose a setup for everyone to use, I've no idea how easy it would be, but it would make races much more even (and more enjoyable imo), any idea if this is possible Scawen?

Yep as said, get windows 10, if your pc is old and can't handle it, use Tiny10, it's a cutdown version that is easier on the system and you may even find it performs better than windows 7, "ancient gameplays" youtube channel has cheap keys, in his latest video he gives you a code for 25% off.

I was thinking about this, I like my drifting, but when S2 came out I remember having a few races in the mini with a packed field, no one was that good, so that made it closer, that's the problem now, people are too bloody good 🤣

S2 at Christmas was the best for me though and my parents had just bought me a wheel, then S2 came out, I can't remember exactly the date though, needless to say, my parents didn't see me much that Christmas 😄

We can only hope! I remember S2 coming out many a moon ago (at Christmas), it just so happened my Dad bought me a ffb wheel, my parents didn't see me much that Christmas 😄 Anyway, I'm just happy it's stil being worked on, and them not being tied into watering things down due to publishers etc.

A month ban would be about right, that's not exactly a big deal, hopefully that would curb the idiocy.

This is a bit of a revelation to me! I might just get the old dfgt out of the attic now, I just occasionally see what is going on with development and play with a mouse or gamepad, I've never really seen any proper races on servers these days, I really need to get back into it, not that I've ever been any good 😄. I'm really liking the progress that's being made, sometimes the simplest things make a massive difference. Good work scavier!

Thanks for the advice Gutholz, I think I'll just get a separate shifter and pedals from elswhere. Im liking this http://www.shiftershh.es/en.html it's 3d printed and not too expensive. I should really have got a g27 but just don't have the funds. I managed to get the dfgt for £51 new which was pretty good.

Any idea when graphic overide 3.5 is finished or if there is something similar with directx 9 compatability?

One last question, lol, probably one for Scawen. Are there any plans for directx 10+ in the future? I'm just rather interested. I did search but couldn't find any info.

Hi all, I havent really played live speed online for years due to only using 3g for internet. Anyhow, I decided to treat myself and get a driving force gt, a new graphics card and a proper internet connection and get into LFS again.

I'm unsure whether any of the graphic mods(bloom etc.) work with 0.6j and what thebest graphic mods are?

Also, does anyone know if you can get a g25/27 shifter and clutch working on the driving force gt, I can't seem to find the answer on the internet. I know the brake and accelerator will work with a bit of modding but just can't find any info about the clutch or shifter, I'm quite happy to do some modding, not that I plan on doing this soon, just intrigued really.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing again so hopefully see you all on the track soon
