This competition was a good challenge for me. In earlier rounds, I had to struggle to make it past pre-qualifying, and did not manage to race in the first two. Being able to post a reasonable time in Blackwood qualifying, I joined the race for the first time in round 3. It's a shame that it got easier in the following rounds when a few faster drivers dropped out. Still, I was quite slow and was not competing for points until the very last round, where the starting grid was not even full (as it was not in round 6 as well).
Thanks for organizing this Andro, and thanks to everyone who supported the championship with server access, live commentary and watching over the secondary qualifying sessions.
Russian LFS rookie driver here. The thread title is not quite accurate.
First of all, I find it ridiculous that *you* bring up this topic, while you are actually contributing to the fragmentation of the Russian LFS community by assisting to the proliferation of the "pereulok" server community.
Second, yes, it's true that forums are not that active. But then again, it's a specialized community forum, so naturally traffic will be small. People announce leagues from time to time, and that iRacing thread is simply bumped by a few very active posters — it's not like the whole Russian LFS community is actively discussing iRacing all the time. By the way, you even organized and announced a league on lfs.su last summer — thanks for that!
Third, I find it not quite appropriate to judge community activity by forums activity. In LFS, you gain experience by practicing in the sim, not by posting on the forums — online servers is where people spend most time and chat a lot. Forums are for things like announcements, guides and setups, and after so many years people just get tired and post less of those.
At one point, I was pleasantly surprised by how many Russian guys joined the Redline Racing 6 server for STDC practice — I think it was almost 50% of the whole roster (it's a shame it was just once and they didn't continue racing in the champ). So, the community is still alive and kicking — the forums maybe less so. Here's your food... for thought.
By the way, if anyone from lfs.su administration sees this post: thanks guys, you're doing an awesome job!

Reason : fix a typo + a minor addition
Session/lap/time: Feature Race / Lap: 1 / 3:22 Car numbers (of the involved cars): 128, 155 Description of the incident: 155 pushes 128 off the track as a result of what looks like an avoidable contact
One more thing. The race pages do not seem to prominently mention the cars that will be used, only this page says "XFG - XRT". Shouldn't it be "XFG, XRG"?
(and I wonder whether XFG drivers have a chance against XRG in a long (60 minutes) race, although I'll agree that XFG is easier to drive)
Can you tell us how exactly the "1 month S2 license" prize is implemented? I'm not sure how you can offer someone access to S2 and then take it back.
Also, what are the pre-qualification requirements? The site doesn't tell much. Is it simply that 10 fastest drivers from the pre-qualification advance to the race?
