Quote from Nhb93 :I don't have a problem with doing the training, but if the AI is going to have such disregard for you on the track, it would be wise to either have all the training unlocked when you get S1 or S2, or just improve the AI all together. Thinking about it, Nascar 99 for PS1 has better AI awareness than LFS S2, which is sad, considering LFS is the better game.

It's true.
Although some people say that it is online simulator, not offline, I have to agree with you. It is a shame that they still haven't done something about AI. But I still hope they will
If they don't fix it, I think I won't buy S3.
Formulas: cockpit & intruments problem

I understand the fact that this is simulation and that all instruments in formulas have to be on steering wheel.
BUT:
Presume you are using low quality steering wheel that behavies very "nervous" or you are simply annoyed by using wheel in real life and looking at another on the screen.
Result is the same: you want to remove wheel from the screen.
But what happens when you remove wheel, and switch to virtual instruments on in the corner of the screen? It sucks: you just can't be focused on race and check at the bottom of the screen for revs.

So this is my improvement suggestion:
Make an option that will only virtually "lock steering wheel" on the screen so it is not moving around when I'm driving.
Results:
1. If you hate steering wheel in the formula that is moving around, you'll be happy
2. It is still sim because we are not forced to turn on some silly virtual clocks at corners of the screen.

Cheers
AI not so aggressive

For instance, when driving formula(it's not just about them) I'm doing my best to avoid collisions with other formulas, and then just suddently get hit from behind. WTF?
I thing this thing would be crucial improvement for single player mode.

Bro

Quote from Scawen :For LAN connection, you need to use one of the IP address ranges reserved for LAN use.

For example 192.168.xxx.xxx

Orion was right, IP adresses I had before(192.0.0.2 & 192.0.0.3) were OK for demo connection and regulary work in windows, but not for S1 or S2.

Now both of my IP's start with 192.168 as you suggested and now it's working on all versions.

Thanks guys!
[LAN] Not a valid IP adress?

I connected my two PC's with crossover Lan cable. Everything is set just fine. I've set each IP adress manually. Ping is OK, I can normally transfer data between each other.
But, when I tried to join a multiplayer game(the other PC is host), LFS says that I haven't entered valid IP adress.

Any ideas why? It's making me crazy...
