Currently studying Aeronautical Engineering at University. My part time job is as a Knowhow colleague at Currys. I started off as sales and within 4 days I was known as the computer expert. They may know how to sell but know nothing about the products they are selling...
So! I've had my wheel for god knows how many years now and its all been working perfectly. Then last night i plugged it in and many issues have suddenly come about. The pedals are not being registered (sometimes one pedal works), all the buttons on the shifter have stopped working but the shifter works fine, and the ffb is having some problems, when calibrating it sticks to the end of rotation for a few seconds and when it centred it wobbles from side to side a lot more, almost as if one of the motors has dies?
I'm looking for any advice towards solving some if not all these issues,
If it is a drive through penalty, then on a later lap you must drive through the pit lane. If it is a stop and go penalty, then do the same but stop in one of the pit boxes
So, I installed windows 8 and overclocked my system. In task manager my cpu speed is at 3.18ghz (standard speed), but in cpuz it shows as 3.85ghz which is what i have it at now. The system clock has also sped up with the overclock so now it is traveling into the future (seconds are shorter). Any suggestions on what to do? It also affects games, in LFS the timer is fast and the cars are much quicker.
thanks,
Jack.
