A friend of mine believes that he has encountered engine/gearbox damage while shifting rapidly from a high gear to a low gear.

The only thing I can think of would be to move the blue/flag bit down slightly as the dark grey band is quite thin

I had my helmet done ages ago, but I have since lost the file. I would greatly appriciate it if anybody would be so kind to make me another.

Free starts with a drive through for false starts would be great.

I have narrowed down the problems and have discovered I have an unsufficent power supply. I have a 250W box, and the card requires a 400W box, so when I have that sorted, i'll see what happens.

At the moment, I can't play any games, and am using Windows default drivers.

I've just bought 256mb XFX GeForce 7600 GS, upgrading from my GeForce 2. I was looking for a great increase in performance, especially in LFS. But, since installing the card, LFS has not improved one bit from before. Still, I get a steady 30 FPS when driving on my own, and 10 FPS with all AI.

I'm not pleased that the main reason I bought a £100 card has not been helped at all. On other games, such as Far Cry, I am able to crank up the graphics, and still get a good, steady frame rate.

Can anybody help?

You can't compare the engine sounds to that Renault, due to the switch from v10 to v8.

I'm noticing many topics about our n00bs who have wrecked our races, ect. I'm probably right in thinking it's been said before, but I have an idea.

Why not have an option, when creating a server, whether or not you would like drivers to have their racing license to enter. To get the license, you must complete all the tests in 'training' mode. If the host doesnt allow non-license holders, you will have to complete them and get your license before you can enter.

You're right... Silverstone is a struggling track, and I think being recreated in popular games is a great way to get it back as it once was. With Damon Hill now the president of the BRDC, we might have some luck.
