That's so weird. LFS was always my go-to simulatior, because it always worked no problem in CrossOver. Assetto Corsa and Beam NG took a long time to finally run decently.
Now it's the other way around: LFS stopped working.
I have been playing LFS on Crossover Mac for ages, recently even used the LFS Editor.
This week I upgraded to Apple Silicon and am surprised to see that even the very demanding sim Beam NG Drive work flawlessy, also Assetto Corsa runs and looks better than ever.
So why would LFS not work? It's way less demanding. Can it somehow not be forced into 64-Bit?
P.S.: What do you guys get? I get a Blackscreen with the mouse stuck in the upper left of the screen
Ironically the LFS Editor keeps working
Wow!!! Now if only I could get to work my clutch pedal & shifter … to get beaten by all these crazy fast Fins
I love the front splitter! The rims! The cage! The facelift bumpers! And you gave it a Sport EVO S14 Is the front now lighter? Should be, right?
I'll test and rate soon.
Freakin awesome. Everything is tops unless maybe the XRG interiour, but seriously I don't care. I just happy the physics seem spot on after first testing. Did you go for the IRL trailing arm rear suspension?
Installing the SuperPNG Photoshop plugin did the trick
Looks like Photoshop generally gets rid of the alpha channel when exporting PNGs, but SuperPNG (altough very old) makes it work
Sorry if that has been asked before, I placed an ***ALP.PNG in the PNG folder, and Editor tells me the PNG is in RGB color mode, but has to be in "A" color mode.
"Color type is RGB but A is required" is what the editor says
Does A refer to having an alpha channel? I tried exporting 24-Bit PNGs from Photoshop (RGB plus transparency)
Is the required format something that can't be done in Photoshop CS6?
So A seems to be 32-Bit PNGs. I have tried tons of exporting options already, nothing seems to work.
As far as my limited understanding goes PNGs do not have separate Alpha-channels like a DDS, right?
Hi there and thanks for the tip! Question: Does that still work now?
I try to follow your guide but see only the .veh files that are in the veh folder.
EDIT: Scratch that! Worked. Now trying to fix various issues.
EDIT: Now drove around BL1 with it. With the engine I swapped in it! Awesome. Still tons of issues, but … so cool.
Came out absolutely incredible. It drives and sounds so well and looks fantastic. Wish there was a LHD version
EDIT: Also I love the gauges. Beautifully done.
