Alright, I reckon I've been tempted to join you all after all. Still awaiting delivery of Wii controller, so don't know when I'll be able to leave with my slow fast car. Cya soon!

Hmm... Can't quite decide whether to come now, as there are two mates' leaving the country parties, plus a band I'm friends with playing... Arg, why do I have a quiet social life and then 5 things all happen on the same night. I had bought some extra Wii U controllers too, for some Mario Kart battling, in lieu of real karts. Can't decide, but thought I should say my resolve is wobbling.

Yay, I had given up hope. Shame about no karting, but it'll be nice to see you all. Date isn't perfect, but this trumps my other plans, so please sign me up. Anyone want a lift from Bristol, e.g. the airport? Sorry I've been a bit late to spot this.

Once again, a massive thanks to Jason and his wife for putting this all together - it's really quite splendid of them. Every year it's really like christmas to me - getting to chat to and race against a great gang who are an interesting and also super quick bunch who fight mean but fair.

I was once again frustrated to fail to get a podium, and sad to this time only battle Beccy for 3 seconds, so will pray to the flying spaghetti monster to get a chance again next year.

Thanks to Victor for obviously being a legend, but also for very generously giving me the kart back for the last stint. I don't remember racing for so long in a day, so feel quite battered.

Nice one Bob on the slo mo videos - makes me want that capability.

Was great to see old friends and also meet new faces. Sorry I had to leave without saying goodbye to many who were still asleep, as I had to get three_jump to the airport in time. Thanks everyone!

Cool, sounds like everyone is sorted, at least to get there.

I can pick up 3 jump at Bristol airport and also return him on the Sunday.
The others can sort out return trips for der butz, robin and isaac during the weekend.

See you all soon!

OK, my beloved little car is back in one piece and is both running, and stopping, very well. Sorry for the delay, was my fault, as have been very busy.

The lift situation to and from Bristol airport is a little complex, but I’m very keen to help anyone out.

Friday arrival times:

Isaac & Robin arrive at Bristol train station (not sure which) at 3:30pm
Three_jump 6pm airport
Der Buts 9pm airport

Lifts:
Unlike me, Rob has more than 1.9 seats in his car, so could take Isaac & Robin, if they'd like a lift and haven’t already bought tickets to Abergavenny train station.

Andreas B is landing at Gatwick at 6:55pm. It’s 148 miles, 90% motorway, google says 2:30 minutes, so about 2:40 with traffic in airport itself and the M25. So a 35 minute wait for der Butz.

This would mean I can pick up Three hump at 6, saving Isaac & Robin a few hours’ wait and a ticket to Abergavenny.

Sunday departure times:

Isaac and Robin – no idea on departure time or place.
Three Jump – ‘early afternoon’
Der Butz 2 or 3pm

Lifts:
Andreas B is taking off from Heathrow at 6:45. In theory it’s 2 hours, 113 miles from Bristol to Heathrow airports.
Not sure what Rob’s plans are.
I’m flexible.

Questions - please everyone confirm they know the score.

Isaac, please tell us if you’ve already bought tickets to Abergavenny? In theory there may be no need.
And where and when do you want a lift to on Sunday?
Finally, if being picked up, tell us whether it’s Bristol Parkway or Bristol Temple Meads (this one, TM is in the city centre, and Parkway is to the North)

Andreas - can you still pick up der Butz on the Friday night? If not, I could maybe do this instead of Three_jump, but I’d maybe prefer to arrive a bit earlier.

Three_jump, what time is your Sunday flight?

Wow, the joy of logistics. Anyway, it's pretty simple really, we'll be fine.

My car in theory should be repaired in time, so Isaac, I might be able to give you a lift. But I only have one passenger seat, and I might have already offered a 'maybe' lift to Three Jump. If my car is still in pieces, then I'll be needing a lift too, which I think Rob who might be offering. No news on car till about 2.5 weeks from now, then I'll be more certain of whether it'll be ready.

Cool, thanks Rob. Though I reckon I should be OK if the repairs go smoothly.

51bhp? Bwa-hahahahaha!

Feel the power of my 0.6 litre 65bhp behemoth!!!!!

Though that was 21 years ago, plus it's currently running in Windows safe mode, so maybe it's actually about 50bhp right now. And it looks a bit like Noddy's car.

Feels fast enough when its got no brakes anyway, so wish me luck.

I'm delighted to see that Jason is running this again, as I'd been getting a bit worried. I've just put my money down.

Three Jump, Rob, and der butz ought to know that I'll be driving from Bristol. At least I hope so. My car's brakes are currently very unwell, with new parts a long way away, so it may not be repaired in time.

So instead of helping out by giving someone a lift, I might instead need to ask Rob for a lift too! Note that if my car is repaired in time, its asymmetry means it only has space for a single passenger, and a small one at that. If you thought The Very End's is a clown car, you ought to see mine.

Alternatively, I might try to persuade a friend or two from Bristol to drive me. Nick A went in 2009 and 10 and is a quick and keen simracer.

I had been thinking of instead being placed on a different team from my pals Nicka and co, as I am interested in having the chance to race against Nick, as he is very quick.

In terms of who else I'd like to team up with, I'm not sure, but I remember Becky from last year, and liked her style. Then again, she was also very quick too, so I'd guess maybe I'd like to race against her too. I nearly got the chance last year, but then she had her accident almost directly in front of me. Anyway, to jog your memory, I'm the chap with fairly long hair.

Oh, and I ought to explain in advance that'll I'll be wearing my prescription sunglasses come rain or shine, because my normal glasses are currently getting repaired. Not because I am a vampire.

This is awesome news. Last year's weekend was great from start to finish. It was a real pleasure to race an entire pack of very quick drivers equipped with a bit of racecraft and etiquette. And the party had a nice vibe afterwards.

Hats off to you again Jason.

Can't wait.

This sounds awesome - thanks for organising it. Please put me down as a definite. I dearly love karting, and am excited about taking on a field of keen racers. Will be nice to meet everyone too.

Have been away from LFS for a year or so lately. My old desktop PC is wheezing a bit these days.

Thanks again.
