Hi smith ... nice,very nice! Thanks so far ... but 3 little things I have to mention:

- why does it say LFS stats! v1.40 at the top of the result sheet - isn't it still 1.39?

- can all lap charts be limited to the same bounds/ min/max laptime? so that they can be compared better? the min time to all could be the fastest lap time of the race, and the max time the slowest lap time ... understandable?

- could the average lap time of the specific player can be displayed as a line in the lap chart, so that in every chart is some kind of personal benchmark to see?

Just my thoughts so far after a quick test, will look into it further.

That could be a possibility too.

On the one side I like LfS Stats a lot for its easieness of use and the all results on one table. But I would like that feature too, especially like I find the lap by lap chart like it is now hard to read ... not an easy issue at all I guess

Maybe a line chart without the times written in the chart for each lap would be better?

... but maybe it wasnt a good idea at all if I think for the up to 20 single charts if the server was full ... allthough I would like it

I would like to see a graph for each driver with his personal laps driven as a line or bar chart. To visualize his personal consistency, where he made a mistake/pitstop=longer bar and such.
I know the lap by lap chart is not that far off, but first thats relative to the average winner lap time and not absolute and second its a bit confusing to read with more then 6 or 8 drivers.

Thats what I really miss atm.

Nevertheless we at GAS Racing use LfS Stats for quite some time now and really like it, so a BIG THANK YOU

I use a joystick too. Its a MS Sidewinder Precision Pro withput FF. I like it too drive with the stick, much more relaxed then with wheel

Nochmal zur Erinnerung. Am Sonntag gehts los mit der 2. GAS Track Challenge. Wir haben uns noch was einfallen lassen damit es hoffentlich für jeden interessant wird. Eine Verlosung für alle Teilnehmer.
Zusätzlich zun den Preisen für die ersten 3 gibt es einen weiteren Preis der zur besseren Teilnahme beitragen soll. Und das geht so:
Jeder Fahrer erhält pro Renntag an dem er dabei ist ein Los (virtuell als Nummer). Am Ende der Saison wird unter allen ausgegeben Losen ein Preis ausgelost.
Das heißt bei umso mehr Rennen man dabei ist, je mehr Chancen hat man zu gewinnen.

The 2nd GAS Track Challenge will start at the 19th of march. With 9 events on all the 'club' tracks of LfS and 2 slalom tracks it will be quite variedly.

We are mainly orientated to german speaking drivers, but if there is a demand from english speaking drivers we might add support for them.

Ab 19. März veranstaltet das GAS Racing Team die 2. GAS Track Challenge.

Diesmal gehts an 9 Sonntagen auf die 'Club'-Strecken von LfS. 2 Slalomläufe sind auch dabei. Wie bereits bei der 1. GTC wird wieder mit unterschiedlichen Wagen gefahren - Abwechslung garantiert.

Jeder ist herzlich willkommen, alles weitere hier!

Some small change - the raceday will no be Sunday evening at 22:00 German time. Maybe thats more interesting for some of you.

The GAS Track Challenge (GTC) is looking fr drivers. It will be a 7 run series each sunday at 22 o'clock german time. The races will be on different track configurations with different cars - here are the races for the firts GTC in Kyoto: http://www.gas-racing.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=502

There will even be small (symbolic :cookiemon) prizes for the overall first 3 drivers.

Here's my new layout. You have to go 2 laps around the back part of the track. Just follow the arrows and you should be fine

Mine is far away from being a sports car, but with 105hp for 975kg with full fuel and driver its not that slow either. Has a tiptronic gearbox, some parts like doors, engine cover, ... made of alloy to keep the weight down and an updated aerodynamic shape all from the factory. Drives well in town, nice on countryroads and good at the highway where you can tickle much bigger - so nearly all cars ;-) - because no one would expect such a little car to have a speedmax of over 200 km/h.

Hi ... I race at a german lfs slalom challenge, so I was interested in your post and took a look at the real track you attached: I tried to make a LFS slalom layout with that as rough inspiration. Here is what came out. Hope you like it.

But 2 things I have to say.

1) Some of you are way too nervous. Instead of asking several organisation related questions minutes before the start, better read the instruction given here in the first post and just listen to the admin while on the server. Cause he told all what to do and made a fantastic job!

2) Even if you are a fast driver who was just by bad luck in a backend position - respect the leaders!!!

Anyway, looking forward to the next event.

Nice, I'm in too - GAS HS (HS-78).

Very nice report ... the only thing I have to say is that it was no mistake of me in that corner but a tyre blow of the front right one in lap 34. So I had to switch from a 2 stop to a 4 stop strategy. I guess thats happened not only to me.
