my first car was fiat uno 999cc. It is great car, as long i dont lift off, cost me £500 on insurance. Even that was dear in 1997.
just get the cheapest car, because you are likey to stack it, statically and learn working on it, instead taking to expenisve garage. 2 bird to kill on 1 stone.
I suggest nissan micra I know those are granny car. but they rally them, in small class. very strong car, love to rev.

Just open your door and venture out. you might find something interesting that are right outside your door (!)
I done 130mph in citroen AX GT downhill. i never knew how fast it went.
The speedo goes at 130mph @ 4000rpm in top gear, but the rpm was at 5500rpm. i guessing around 140mph. Car never felt the same next day, i sold it.
where is patch z10? The vw Scirocco addtions has been postponed doesnt mean you get lazy with updates. What you really need is an deadlines. That should give you something to be motivated about. Get on with it.
you know, you could fit evo 6 running gears in your wira, that makes it quick.
seriously, it may be good idea if you buy cheap pre-paid mobile phone in your glove box, in case of breakdown, and spare £30 or whatever your full tank of petrol cost, to just get you home.
and apply plenty of glass cleaner on windscreen, inside/out that make difference on visability.
and get a basic tool box with tools in boot incase you do work on it.
I liked LFS now. its more fun now, and they change something in patches to keep us enterined. BUT there is one thing i dont like is we have 4 formula typee car... i want a something like radical or closed wheels car on slicks.
