I was lucky to watch 3 days of racing in Monaco... Kubica had definitely most aggressive driving at the point where I was (casino tribune B and had view to straight down to Mirabeau). I even saw Alonso hitting wall red bull looked like easiest car to drive... they had almost no correction on steering wheel... and on the other hand Ferrari looked like they were having a lot of problems with grip on rear wheels.... I guess this was reason why Alonso hit the wall and Massa also
Or someone could make some ajax/php web page pack it with some portable lamp server that would be started on same computer running LFS. There is iwebkit that allows making web sites/pages optimized for iPhone and that can run in full screen just as normal app would work and look. I made some webapp (not related to LFS) and I would be willing to provide help if needed.
I have just made small program for Gear Indicator. I tested it only with GTR2. It uses same schematic as lfs gi. 7 segment display on pins 2-8, shift indicator pin9 and low fuel on pin16.... Im sure it's full of bugs ... it's actualy early alpha ...anyway here is the link...
also in order for this program to work you need to modify your PLR file (c:\program files\gtr2\userdata\yourUser\yourUser.PLR and modify line Write Shared Memory="0" to Write Shared Memory="1"
Hi,
I was wondering if there is some program that could use wheel pedals for scrolling or some other custom function... I usually move my wheel a side but my pedals are always under the table in place collecting dust when I'm not playing... maybe there could be some other use for them... any ideas
New F1 cars will have maximum 80bhp 5.6 seconds per lap boost button activated (depending on how much electricity KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) produces). Another Max Mosley's "fine" idea
I tried rfactor and first thing I noticed is that car was jumping all around and loosing grip because there was a lot of bumps on track. It somehow increases sense of speed. I personaly like the effect altough Im not sure if it's like in real world with racing suspension, but I guess it should be. There is one bigger bump in SO after the double chicane, but everything else is somehow to flat, even when you hit on track side bank, it's again somehow too smooth at least comparing to rfactor. What's your opinion on this... I don't say that in rfactor is more realistic, could be that it's compleatly unrealistic... It scared me and my hart started pumping when the car jumped and lost control for split second didn't expect something like that
I like this two car mode
This happend when I tried anodised reflection mode, FXR became white and when I switched to F08 this is what happend. And I had to ctrl-alt-del kill it afther couple of movements around
I used vb6 sample that I downloaded today from here and made this little OutGauge display for my notebook. I just set the OutGauge IP to IP of my notebook and port 56551... It's far from finished... difrent cars have difrent max speeds and revs and on may tacho max is 9000rpms so when you try F1 it looks funny. It can be solved but I just whanted to see if it works... so its pre pre pre alpha. And I don't know if I will have time to ever finish it ... so Im posting VB6 source and...
